The funeral was decided for six in the evening the next day. When Sam was being lowered wearing the suit she had gifted him ten years ago—he had insisted in his will—Natasha was inconsolable.

She put her hand in Sam's pocket and found what she was looking for. A bar of 5 star chocolate, her favorite. Sam knew she would look for it in his pockets like she always did when they were kids. And he never forgot to get her the chocolate.

As she pulled out her hand, a piece of paper slipped out from the pocket. She picked it up.

Hi Nat.

If you are reading this I don't know what I would be doing. I may be dead, or you cleaned the house and found this paper. I know we have never been close but I just wanted to say I am sorry and thank you.

I am sorry for being such a burden on your life. I am sorry that you had to take care of me since our parents died. I know you never asked for any of it. You just wanted to earn lots of money and life in a huge house. I am happy to see you doing just that even with your deadweight of a brother.

Thank you for not abandoning me too. Thank you for staying strong enough for both of us. Thank you for providing me with shelter, food and money.

Please contact William Reigns from Legalsy. He has good news for you.

I may not have said it, but
I love you, Nat.

Goodbye.

ps. I still hate Donald and he peed on the carpet again the last time.

Donald had quit barking.

Natasha broke down crying. there was no one to watch her ugly cry because she had been right. Sam had no friends. No one beside herself was at her brothers funeral.

Well... we part ways here...really because the story does end here. I hope you enjoyed reading it and that it moved you just as much as it affected me and that I am not just a whimpy kid *snickers*.

Too soon?

Sorry.
