Stage one: 1 to 9 moons in, The cat is not technically possessed due to the fact that Smokesun's spirit is still getting used to their new home this is the only chance the "Possessed" cat has for removing the spirit without killing the cat, the spirit can be removed by a extreme amount of physical pain, Smokesun's Spirit will not be destroyed though for it is only waiting for the next group of young cats with The Sisters's bloodline to perform the required summoning ritual, symptoms for the stage: Ears ringing, Vomiting up a strange white substance, A feeling that something is terribly wrong and A feeling of slight cold

Stage three: 18 to 22 moons in, The last stage before the cat is completely possessed by Smokesun, Smokesun now shares all of the possessed cat's memories and experiences and it's also best you say goodbye to this cat because they will be gone in a few moons, symptoms for the stage: The voices of cats The possessed cat has lost or Smokesun themself whispering in the cat's ears, eyes visibly switching to yellowish-green for a heartbeat, sleepwalking sessions that lead to Smokesun gaining control of the cat until they are woken up during these sleepwalking sessions if the cat is in Clan territory Smokesun will attempt to leave the territory through any means, The urge to tell others a glorified version of Smokesun's story and Seeing things out of the corner of your eye if you are a cat with ghost seeing abilities and extreme paranoia
