Traitor (Rindou Haitani X GN! Reader angst)

It was the Saturday before Valentines Day and (Y/N) chose to go out bright and early to get their boyfriend a couple V-day gifts. They got up and realized her boyfriend Rindou wasn't there.

'Weird, its 7 am and he doesn't have work..' they decided to brush it off and continue their day. 

After they got ready they grabbed their keys then got in their car and headed to the mall.  They stopped by several stores and ended up spending a whole paycheck on the gifts.  

'well there goes all my money...' They thought while sweat dropping. Then they saw someone walking out of a store.

'That looks like Ran- Wait it is!'

"Hey Ran!" They said while running up to him, hands full of the gifts. 

"(Y/N) what are you doing here...?!" He asked while looking worried. 

"I was buying Valentines gifts for Rindou. What about you? Oh is Rindou here?" They asked while perking up at the thought of their boyfriend. 

"Oh um no he-uh- Oh! He is at the park haha...?" He said questionably . The (H/C) Then saw someone by the dresses. It was Rindou kissing a girl. They drop the gifts in disbelief which causes Rindou and the unknown fling to look in their direction. 

"O-Oh babe w-what are you doing here?!" Rindou asked. Ran was slowly backing away and the girl slipped her number in his suit jacket then started to run so she doesn't get caught up in the commotion. 

"Don't call me 'babe'" They said as tears filled the brim of their eyes. 

"(Y/N) she slipped and fell into me. It was an accident!" He tried to reason. 

"So It was an accident that your tongue was exploring her mouth? Your hands accidentally slipped to her ass?" They said as the tears were falling.

"Look babe, let's talk about this later. We are getting stared at..." The lilac male said rubbing their arm. They slapped him and he fell back shocked.

"I was buying Valentines gifts for you. I spent my whole paycheck. $240 fucking wasted. I hate you Rindou Haitani." They said walking away. Rindou tried to catch up with them but he fell. 

*** A FEW YEARS LATER***

'It has been 4 years since you 'cheated' on me. I could barely heal myself after that , but when I did i lost everything. I got fired, that bitch spread a rumor that I cheated on you therefore I lost all of my friends. You didn't even correct her or change the rumor and stand up for me. My dad died, my mom is sick. I can't pay the bills. Everyone hates me. Ran told me she made the first move and threatened you guys and that's why she fled. I didn't believe him until he showed me a picture of you refusing. I still hate you because of how you didn't stand up for me. You still lied to me buy saying she slipped. We probably could have worked things out if you had told me the truth. I hope you had a good Valentine's day cause I sure didn't. I am writing this letter so you know that I tried. For 4 fucking years I tried. For 4 years I attempted to reach out. It's so unfair how I got this route. And this letter isn't just for you. This shows the person who finds my body what happened and why I did this. I might still hate you Rindou but there is no denying that I still have a little spark for you left. I hope you have a good life. Take care of my mother for me will yah! It's funny yknow? It took you two weeks To go off and date her, Guess you didn't cheat, But you're still a traitor.

- Goodbye Rindou.'

They fold the envelope and see the mailman, they run outside and give it to him. Paying him all the money they have to give the envelope to him first thing and telling him to have a good life as well as that was enough money to last a lifetime. The mailman bows and thanks them then goes to deliver the letter. 

They then walk inside, not caring to close the door since there is no point. They then grab the knife and slide into the water. They make multiple deep cuts. Each one to represent what has happened in her life. Then on the other arm they make 7.  Finally on their left thigh they carve Rindou's initials. As their vision is blurring they hear someone running to the bathroom screaming their name. The words are incomprehensible but they know it's Rindou. 

Rindou lifts them out of the water and yells for someone to call 911. Then he hears something soft. It's so soft that he can barely hear but he was able to make out what was said. With all of (Y/N)s strength they begin to say something while smiling.

"So you do still care eh?" A lonely tear runs down their face as the darkness overcomes them.

The mother survived but was depressed that her precious baby was gone. She was thankful because Rindou paid for her treatment and all of her bills since it was the least he could do. But there is no amount of money that could be given to her to forgive him for what happened to (Y/N). The funeral was sad. People were crying. Yes, all of (Y/N)s friends came because Rindou told them all the truth. No one blamed him as it wasn't his fault. But everyone knows it wasn't fair because afterall,  he's still a traitor.

OMG THAT TOOK SO LONG. My fingers hurt from tapping. Sorry if this didn't make a lot of sense. I don't know how other authors write long books. I think when i finish this or something I might write a TR X KNY story or something with our lovely (Y/N) as the main character.
