One year later
I was in my office as Susie was next to me annoying the crap out of me, we both work in the same field as secretary's for business

I got my work done quick which was no surprise but supposedly tomorrow we had very wealthy people coming to talk about business and our ceo selected me to help him with the visit

I was honestly not that nervous since I've always been the one selected to help him yes it benefits me because he raises my check but it gets tiring

Susie- y/n how are you and Mike doing? You rarely talk about him
Y/n- honestly I don't know how I feel about him anymore he's different.... He's disrespectful to me and my parents and treats me bad but I still love him
Susie- he doesn't sound like a good guy y/n maybe you should just take a break-... what's that bruise ?

I hid my arm so she wouldn't see it but she pulled my arm taking a better look at it

Mike- yea fucking right your just useless at this point
Y/n- please I won't mess up anymore

He came close to me holding my wrist very tight as I could feel them burning as I could already see them turning red

He then threw me to the floor as he stood in front of me with Angie run his eyes burning throw my soul as I didn't dare to look back up

Mike- am I an idiot to you? I don't take words from someone like you

That's when I knew I had made a mistake ever trying to love him at this moment I wish someone was here to save me ....

Susie- it was him right Y/N break up with him now
Y/n- I'm scared too.. he said if I dared too he would beat me
Susie- report him y/n you can't keep living like this
Y/n- I know......

I was called into the ceo office to go over what would be happening tomorrow obviously look presentable and other things, I liked this job because our ceo was young and was chill with us but none of us hit on him because he had a wife and one kid

She was definitely lucky I took the files with me and since it was time to head home I left the building, getting into my car and driving back home

I felt like tomorrow was going to be a different type of visit but I honestly wasn't too worried about it, as I got to my apartment I placed my bag and papers on the couch and laid on my bed absolutely exhausted

I ordered dinner and ate it as I watched tv I prayed Mike wouldn't show up and luck was on my side he didn't I locked my door securely and went to my room to take a shower

The warm water running down my pale skin as I scrubbed my hair thoroughly, getting out to feel the cold air leaving chills on my body

Doing my night time skin care and heading to bed, Mike always checks my location to see where I am but little does he know I have him the location of my other phone

I then fell asleep to have enough energy tomorrow
