"Yara, do you wanna go with me to work?" My Dad asked me, I was getting excited since this is my first time going to my Dad's office. "Yes please!" I shouted in excitement. "You have to wait for me outside my office okay?" I just nodded in response.
"Daddy, the company is really big!" I said when we went in and my dad just laughed. My Dad went in his office and I just wandered around the company and I saw a boy around my age sitting beside the door outside so I sat beside him.
"Ano ginagawa mo dito sa labas?" Tanong ko sa kaniya. "Wala." Sungit naman nito, matapos niya akong sagutin ng wala umalis na siya.
"Hoy! Ang sungit mo naman." Pagsabi ko sa kaniya habang sinusundan ko siya "Sino ka ba?" Ay! ang cold naman. "I just wanted to be friends with you lang naman eh, ilang taon ka na ba?" Medyo halata ko na naiirita siya "I'm six." I knew it! Kaedad ko siya, you're so amazing talaga Yara!
"Gusto mo sumama sa amin? I'm gonna go home na kasi and we can play sa playground namin!" Bakit parang nanlaki mga mata niya? "What's wrong?" He looks a little amused. "May sarili kang playground?" Sabi niya. "Yeah? Hindi ba normal naman yun for kids?" He laughed at me.
"Hindi ah, sa public playgrounds kami naglalaro ikaw may sarili kang playground eh." Ganon ba 'yon akala ko lahat may sariling playground? "Oh" And he laughed at me again.
"Nakakatawa ka naman! Ano pangalan mo?" He asked me. "My name is Yara, what about yours?" Kapag ba may sariling playground itatanong agad name mo? "My name is Zion!" Ang ganda ng name niya parang foreigner.
"The public playground, can you show me where it is?" He nodded nalang to respond.
After asking him where it was he decided to walk into a narrow place, at first it was strange but then I saw the the slide! So I guess that's the playground."Ito yung public playground!" It looks cool! It's my first time here. "Let's play!"
We played for hours in the playground not until it's time to go home. "Bye Zion! Let's meet here again tomorrow ah! Tawag na kasi ako ng daddy ko" and I waved goodbye. "Bye Yara! Aantayin kita dito ah!"
And that's where our friendship started.
