I wake up with butterflies in my stomach wondering what will happen. I remember my dream, my name in lights that I could see through the huge glass window of my New York apartment I hoped for. I was from Utah so I didn't know anything about the big city but my hopes were soaring!
I ran downstairs after getting my clothes on, and ate breakfast faster than ever before with my family. Then I raced upstairs to brush my teeth and do my hair. After all that was done, we packed the car up and headed to the airport. We soon arrived and I was super scared that I'd get a red buzzer by this time.
We got in, and had to go through check in and security and eventually got some snacks and headed to wait for our plane. It felt like hours that our plane was finally ready for us to board. Then the next moment we were off and heading to auditions. This made me worried, will I ever get my name in lights- will the judges be happy with me? I squirm in my seat in hopes to get comfortable..
