Chapter Four: Explanation

Y/n POV

When I open my eyes, I realize that I'm in my bed. Mattheo must've brought me up here. I see why I dream about him. Last night's dream was him spooning me in a bed that I assumed was his but I wasn't sure. He was whispering sweet little nothings in my ear as his hands were wrapped around my waist and his head on my shoulder. My head rested on the pillow as I listened to him and giggled every once in a while. My dreams of him are getting more real. They feel so real like they are really happening but they can't be. Can they? Maybe the library has a book of dreams.

I put that thought aside and get up and get ready. When I get down to breakfast, I sit in between Mattheo and Kylie. Mattheo on my left and Kylie on my right with Pansy in front of me, Draco on her right, and Crabbe and Goyle on her left. We all engaged in conversation and then we went to the first period.

Timeskip to after classes

When classes are done, I head to the library. I start to skim the shelves. I found a book called Dreamworld interpretations. I pull it off the shelf and sit down at a table. I open it and go to a chapter labeled soulmate dreams. I go to that chapter and start to read. It says that if you dream about someone and it seems real then either you have a strong connection, or there is a love connection. Ok, this is getting weird. I take the book back to my dorm and continue to read it in my bed.

Timeskip

When I finish the chapter, Pansy and Kylie walk in. They both sit on my bed in front of me and stare at me.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Kylie yells at me. I jump back a little at the shout.

"Um, the library to find a book to help me. Why?" I ask the two girls that are still sitting in front of me.

"Have you seen Riddle today?" Pansy asked.

"No, why? What's up with him?" I ask Pansy.

"He's been quiet. When I asked him what was wrong he said that it was nothing but that he got a weird look in his eyes. The same look that he gets when he is around you or looks at you. It's cute. I think he has a crush on you. He was also asking where you were. Do you like him? Are you gonna break up with Potter? Please say you are. It is so obvious that you like maybe even love Mattheo. So, give us an answer!" Pansy tells me. I am really shocked now. Maybe he thinks about me? Wow. That's odd.

"He looks for me and thinks about me?" I ask them.

"YES! He hasn't stopped ever since you were sorted." Pansy says. I smile at her words. I chuckle and they just stare at me.

"What?" Kylie asked me. I look up and smile.

"I read something in a library book today. Apparently there are some kinds of dreams that certain people have. These dreams are of their soulmate and theirs' future together. The good and the bad. And I've been having these dreams for about a week and a half. So, that means that I may have impacted my soulmate in some way. So, him thinking and talking about me is good. I just don't know how to call it off with Harry," I tell the girls.

"He is ignoring you. Just dump him." Kylie says bluntly.

"I don't know how." I told her.

"Go up to him and say 'Hey, we're done. I don't like you anymore so I am not your girlfriend anymore," Pansy says. I laughed sarcastically.

"Yeah, easier said than done, Pansy." I responded. We all laughed and then we just continued to talk until it was dinner.

During dinner, I couldn't help but notice Mattheo staring at me from the corner of my eye. I looked at Pansy and Kylie. Pansy raised her eyebrows and Kylie smirked at me with a 'see, we told you so' look. I shook it off and finished dinner.

When I got back to my dorm, I ignored Pansy and Kylie's fangirling over how Mattheo loves me. According to that dream book, he is my soulmate. I can't tell him that though. We're thirteen, how can I explain that? I have no clue. Well, now it is time for bed.
