Chapter 2: What If... Bakugo Was Born Quirkless Instead?

We've see what one simple difference can give birth to a whole new reality, and in this one, we know the Name, Katsuki Bakugo, Quirk: Explosion, due to that fact, he was overly praised, and grew a dark whole in his heart, but in this world, gave birth to the Quirkless, Katsuki Bakugo, once everyone, including his timid Best Friend Izuku, he began to worry, and then it came, he was told he would gain a quirk and in essence, never be a hero, devasted by the news, desperately seeking the answer, Mitsuki Bakugo, Katsuki's Mother, couldn't find it in her heart to give the boy any false hope...she apologized instead, crying with him as his tears leak down, no Mitsuki, that was not what he needed to hear, but our story begins here, on the last day of Middle School, watch as this new Katsuki Bakugo, changes the world forever!

Teacher: I'm going to pass out these Future
Career Planners, but...

He ends off, showing the deep suspense, as a few students activate their quirks, waiting for him to say what they all had on their minds

Teacher: BUT WHY BOTHER WHEN YOU'RE ALL GOING TO BE HEROES ANYWAY?!

The class erupts into cheers everyone, all but two students, these being Izuku Midoriya, Quirk: Pyrokinesis, and Katsuki Bakugo, Quirkless, as Izuku shouts

Izuku: Guys that's enough, you all don't wanna be arrested for illegal quirk usage now wouldn't you?

The class quiets down, and the teacher nods smile at him as he announces the top two students, Izuku and Katsuki, are on their way to UA, the class quiets down, and burst out laughing at Katsuki

Student 1: Really Katsuki?! His worse than rejects, his Quirkless

Student 2: He can't even last long in the Ring against any of us, UA would eat him for breakfast and spit him back out hahaha!

Izuku stands up, causing the class to suddenly have a bead of sweat trickling down the necks, he smiles, know that tactic would work

Izuku: Who are you to say what Kacchan can or can't do?

He asks, everyone is left stunned, even the teacher, here, the top student in class, defending the weakest one, if there was a god, he must be pulling some serious strings

Teacher: B-but Izuku, he's Quirkless

Katsuki flinches at the memory, Izuku however notices and picked up his desk and walked to the back of the classroom where Katsuki is busy on his trusty Hero Analysis #13, Izuku had taken the time to read and he was thoroughly impressed with his best friend, in fact he was so impressed that he started doing them too, and even help his best friend with a workout routine, comparing how they would take villains and certain heroes on by exploiting the weaknesses of their opponents, the score between spars these had was an even 50:50, one more would make the other buy lunch for a year, the both agreed to in and accepted the deal.

Izuku: I think Kacchan has a better chance at being a hero more than me

Izuku said that shocking everyone, including Katsuki, his best friend believed so much in him, it overwhelmed him, but he bottled it in

Katsuki: His just saying those things to make me feel better, not like he meant it

Class finally comes to an end, Katsuki finds himself looking at the last book, Hero Analysis #13, it gets snatched out of his hands and in the hands of his main tormentor, Ahikoju Sanai, Quirk: Acid Spit, look through his book and scowls, Katsuki knows what's going to happen, and his eyes widen in fear

Katsuki: Can I have my book back, please, I need to get home soon...

Sanai just grins, throws it up spits on it and watches as the cover melts off and a few pages along the edges of them melts off as well, as he walks off he grins devilishly, turns around and locks eyes with him
