"hey olive wanna go to the board walk? we can ride bikes." jeremiah asked me, walking into the kitchen

"yeah sure." i said while finish i off my cereal and handing him the milk

"thank you." he said while gladly taking it

"can i come with?" belly asked while running down the stairs

"i mean sure, ask conrad." i said and i looked at jeremiah and smirked

"yeah go ask con." he added

"why?" she asked

"just because." i said

"okay.."

we were riding our bikes to the board walk. they board walk had a ferris wheel, ice cream shops, arcade, outside games, and a movie theater. it was small, but super cute and fun.

we made it there so we parked and locked up our bikes.

"hey that's where i won you junior mint." conrad said to belly

"yeah it is!" she said back

"they're cute together." i whispered to jeremiah

"yeah, they are." he whispered back

we went our separate ways, we went to go get ice cream and they went to the mini games.

"let's go to the arcade!" jeremiah suggested with his ice cream in his hand

"okay."

"god! you suck ass at this game." i yelled to jere and he hit me in the arm

"so rude" he said jokingly

"let's go play the racing game" he suggested

after a few more games we decided to go back home and just swim until the sun was entirely down.

it was about 7:45 so we would be out there until maybe 9, probably later just swimming.

i got on my suit and told everyone to come swim. it was me, jeremiah, belly, conrad, steven, and shayla and we were playing volleyball in the pool

"yo yo yo i got this!" steven yelled as he completely missed the ball

"you are so bad steven." shayla said from the other side of the net

the teams were me, shayla, and belly vs, jeremiah, steven, and conrad.

"my serve." belly said

"oh no down we go." conrad said when belly got the ball

belly served it, steven hit it back, surprisingly, i hit it, conrad it it back, and shayla spiked it in front of jeremiah.

"damn it jeremiah!" steven yelled because he didn't hit it

"i couldn't even get it if i tried dick wad!" he said that and got aggressively splashed with water by steven

"what the hell!" he yelled and then he hit the side of stevens head into the water

they all ended up splashing and fighting with each other

"guys let's do a chicken fight!" shayla suggested

"i'm down." jeremiah said

"yeah that sounds good." belly agreed

"yeah that's good." steven said as well

"yeah sure" i said

"why not." conrad agreed too

"i got liv." jeremiah said with his finger in the air

"i call belly." conrad said

"yeah i got shayla." steven added

"pull them to us" is what jeremiah whispered in my ear

"i will. that's been our strategy for years." i replied

"wait! before we start let me play music." belly says

late night
calling all the wallflowers i know

"ready? go!" conrad yelled

out the dark, and into the light

just enough for polaroids and cigarettes

"you guys are going down!" steven yelled from under shayla

"in your dreams." jeremiah said back confidently

and the games began. jeremiah went speeding at steven and i had my arms out to shayla. i grabbed her arm and pulled her. she looked confused.

i don't need that late night hig-

"belly change the song it's distracting me!" jeremiah yelled

"okay okay."

i feel close
well, maybe i'm not, heaven knows
it's a spotlight stuck on the ceiling

"now we're talking bells!" he yelled again

why are these things that i'm feeling?
there so so much time
for me to speak up, but i keep quiet

"shayla, i'm sorry i have to do this." i said to her

"what?"

i'll complicate the most of the mantra
the power is out and i can't turn the fan on

"now jere!" i yelled to the boy beneath me

i pulled shayla and jeremiah went backwards super fast, causing her to belly flop.
