I havent edited this btw im only putting it here so i can brainstorm how to continue the storyline
Gui closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of the wind against her face. Dark clouds loomed overhead, thunder rumbled in the distance.
"A storm is brewing. What are you doing out here?" Gui kept her eyes shut. She didn't have to open them to recognise the voice.
"Tell me, Xiao, when was the last time you had taken a walk in the rain?" Gui asked in her soft voice. People often wondered how a girl as gentle as her could have single-handedly taken down two of Osial's heads.
"I would never willingly walk in the rain." The dark-haired Adeptus stepped next to Gui, folding his arms. A small smile crept onto her face, "Then, it's about time you tried." Xiao let out a sigh, his amber eyes flicking to the darkened clouds in the distance. He could never imagine walking in the rain for pleasure, but he knew there was no point in resisting this girl.
"You aren't going to let me off this one, are you?"
"Nope."
"Fine."
"Yay! Let's goo!" Gui opened her eyes, flashing a bright smile. Her heterochromia eyes met Xiao's amber ones and a light blush tinted her cheeks. It's been a while since she had gotten her sight back and yet she still could not get used to the Yaksha's stunning looks.
"Come on," she reached out and grabbed Xiao's arm, dragging him down the path near Wangshu Inn and to their spot underneath an oak tree. A loud clap of thunder resounded through the air. The first few droplets of rain pelted down on the ground. Xiao flinched when a drop of rain landed on his face. His gaze flashed to Gui, who had let her hair down and stood with her arms held wide, as if welcoming the oncoming rain. Gradually, the rain got heavier and soon, both of the were drenched.
(imagine if chongyun and xingqiu just appear out of nowhere and join them. )
"Guilian?! What in the name of Morax are you doing out in the rain?" (ahah guess who is here) Chongyun rushed towards them with an umbrella in hand and Xingqiu trailing behind him.
"Taking a walk."
Without warning, Gui launched towards Chongyun, grabbing the umbrella from him before running towards Xiao, pushing him to the ground accidentally-on-purpose.
"Why you little-" Xiao reached out and yanked Gui by the arm, dragging her to the ground before locking her in a death grip. "How do you say we find your tickle spot?" Chongyun and Xingqiu shared a look before running towards them.
"Jab her in the stomach!" Xingqiu laughed as he tackled Chongyun, "Like this!"
"NOT FAIR!" Gui screamed amidst her laughter, "THISISNOTFAIRICCANTEVENMOOVE!"
"SERVES YOU RIGHT FOR DRAGGING ME OUT HERE!" Xiao smirked, earning an elbow in the stomach from Gui.
In a matter of time, all four of them had exhausted all of their energy, and lay on the wet grass, catching their breaths. By then, the rain had calmed and the dark clouds had dissipated, leaving muddy puddles in its wake. Gui sat up, her long pale blue hair wet from the rain and clothes slightly dirty from the 'cat fight' they just had. A happy smile was plastered on her face
