PROLOGUE
No one knows how it happened, although there are a lot of theories: a chemical warfare attack by terrorists, or more extreme views like a Government experiment gone wrong, to the genetically modified food that we ate causing a mutation. In any case, one thing we knew for sure, the world had changed. Its imbedded in our DNA to try to survive, but its inevitable, we can’t win them all, so we do our best with what we have and hope its enough to get through another day. Normally in life its consequences we can deal with, we didn’t get the promotion, or we took second place, but not anymore. Now every choice is crucial, every day could be our last. Its adapt or die and it will require desperate measures to remain among the living; or become a zombie’s next meal.
