After the events of the Omnic duos return to their underground home Omnicara, they lost a good friend, they hadn't known her for long but her loss hurt like a stab wound, but they gained few knew friends after that. Their second human friend Elodie, introduced them to some of her friends, one of which they decided to create a band with, it didn't last long but they had fun, still only few people knew about their real selves so to avoid accidentally revealing themselves they decided to go solo.. and so they did, with their first music album out for the whole of France to hear, but of course staying human for to long causes Guy-Man to overheat, so a solution to the problem was dire and needed to be found as soon as possible..
It was late at night in the United States of America, the two friends had just performed their first live show and.. everybody loved them.
"Ok Guy, careful" Thomas says backing away,
"Why be careful, it's just going to hurt anyway" Guy says, Thomas gave him a patient look,
"Okay, fine" Guy says before gently tapping the gold pendant around his neck. As he expected, The hot steam blasts from the ports on his shoulders, he had gotten so used to the pain that his shoulders were almost numb when the pain stopped,
"Nghhh." Guy grumbles leaning against the bathroom sink, Thomas already placed the ice cold towel on his neck which helped very much.
"Guy, i hate seeing you like this. I'm sorry" Thomas leads him to the couch,
"Why are you sorry" Guy sits down,
"That I can't find a solution." Thomas sits next to his friend,
"It's not your fault" Guy looked at him,
"It's just not fair." Thomas covers his face, with nothing more to say Guy rested his head on Thomas' shoulder, the silver robot relaxed and rested his head on his friends.
The two stayed like that for a while, not moving much, they had become more than friends, they were like brothers. Always coming to each others aid, comforting and supporting one another.
"I got it!" Thomas says after a while,
"Hm?" Guy mumbles, still half asleep,
"We just don't use the human coating!" Thomas blurts out,
"What??" Guy says shook,
"Just hear me out, we say we were humans that got turned into robots and from what Phoenix and Elodie taught me about humans is that they would just assume we're humans dressing up!" Thomas says brightly,
"Wow.. you think it will work?" Guy asks,
"I know it will" Thomas hugs Guy,
"You won't be hurting anymore"
"Thanks, Tom" Guy hugs back, the two let go of each other,
"So, a new music album to go with it?" Thomas asks,
"Is that really necessary?" Guy sat back,
"Well, you liked making Homework, and the humans loved it! So why not make another?" Thomas looked at him,
"Well, I guess so" Guy shrugs,
"We could be famous! If we make another album more people could discover us" Thomas blurts,
"Discover.. Discovery" Guy echoed,
"Discovery? I like it" Thomas says, Guy had noticed Thomas was getting more excited about some things, he was happy his friend was feeling happy but he still felt.. empty.
