'I know, I really am trying I swear! I will study enough to pass the next test I promise.'

You said, watching the teacher shake her head disappointed.

'I sure hope so, otherwise I already told you what will happen.'

'You know, chemistry is my strongest subject. I could help you to study and then you do me a favour in return.'

You just looked at him, trying to process that Kuroo, captain of the volleyball team, smartest person in your chemistry class and most importantly the best friend of your twin, Kenma, had just walked up to you, offered you tutoring.

'And what would that favor be?'

'I need you to help me with asking out my crush.'

Looking at him in disbelief was apparently your favourite thing to do, becase you were doing it again. You didn't know whether he was making fun of you, or if he was really so desperate that he would ask you, his "almost little sister", to help him ask some girl out.

'First of all, why would you think I can give you some dating advice. Second of all, I don't need you to study with me. I could easily find a professional tutor.'

'Oh, come on. Please! I don't need you to be my "dating-coach", I just need to practice asking you out.'

He whined before giving you the worst puppy eyes you have ever seen. You almost laughed before his choice of words hit you.

'Ask me out?!'

'I mean, we just act like I confess to you, so that I am ready when I ask her out, you get it?'

'Yeah, I get it but-'

'Pleaseeeeee! It is a win-win situation. I can practice asking someone out and you don't need to pay someone to teach you chemistry. It's perfect!'

He smiles, happy about his amazing plan, reminding you of a cat.

Stupid Kuroo, how is it a win-win situation, when I want you to ask me out for real?! You wanted to say, but you didn't. You never did. Instead, you bite your tongue. You make meaningless small talk. You smile at him when he isn't looking. You seem to never tell him what you really think, so just like now, when you are with him, you heterophemize.

You say, while sighing.

Kuroo said, while giving you his typical Kuroo-smile and turning away from you, to walk to his next class. Luckily he turned away just in time because if he hadn't, he would have seen a light shade of red on your cheeks.

'If you want to ask another girl out, you should start to stop calling me darling!'

You yell after him embarrassed, but he just laughs.
