Hunter

"You're sure Omega isn't going to follow us out here?" You asked, looking around as if she could appear at any minute, "You know how she is."

"We're in the middle of the desert at night and I have Tech watching her." Hunter reminded you, leading you up the side of a canyon, "She couldn't if she wanted to."

Shrugging your shoulders, you grinned when you saw the picnic set out. There were some foods set out and a few lights around giving the area a nice romantic glow. For a date in the middle of nowhere, it's already great.

"This is amazing, Hunter." You chuckled sitting down.

"I thought you would like it." He nodded sitting by you, "I didn't think you would want the others around on a date."

"I don't mind them." You corrected, nibbling on some of the food, "They're your family after all. You went through a lot with them in the war."

"Everyone did." He glanced at you, "You don't talk about yourself much. What about your family?"

Stopping for a minute, you looked up with a sigh, "Well, my real parents died when I was young. I was adopted by a great man. I served in the war with him for years until I wanted to leave. He let me and I became a bounty hunter. Simple as that."

"That's a pretty short life story." Fake gasping at that, you playfully bumped your shoulder against his.

"Oh, like yours is any different." You teased, earning a chuckle from him, "At some point though, I want to find a place to just settle down."

"Just like friends of ours." He hummed, "I think one day we will. When things settle down."

Nodding, you both talked more about plans for the future, funny stories from the war. Just anything you could think of, which made you lose track of time. You only realized it when you tried not to shiver. Not exactly easy though when you're wearing a dress. Thankfully Hunter noticed and wrapped his coat around you. He even wrapped an arm around your shoulders. Not that you complained since he was warm.

"You would think it would be warmer on a desert planet." You strangled a laugh, glancing up at him.

"Deserts are always cold at night." He reminded you, with a small smirk, "Your lips are already turning colors from the cold."

You, very clearly, understood what he meant by that, and you went along with it. Kissing him as he pulled you closer for more warmth. Your face feeling hot when he pulled away with a small smirk.

"Not as cold now." You chuckled, "Just a little though."

Smiling at his chuckle, you kissed again.

Echo

"You're just going to be walking, again?" (B/N) pouted, from you living room, "You do that all the time with him though."

"He would walk me home. We're going to a festival." You corrected, fixing yourself up more.

It's not often there's a festival here. It's pure luck that you and Echo decided to go on a date when it was happening. What could be better for a first date? At least the walking would last longer.

Realizing that (B/N) wasn't being a chatter box, you knew that could mean only one thing. Pure Panic hit you as you hurried to finish. Running to the front door, you knew you were right. (B/N) was standing in a protective stance, not letting Echo in.

"(B/N)!" you yelled and lectured him at the same time, with that one name.

"I'm just reminding him..." He started but you cut him off.
