you're my clueless memory

Tonight as I sit in the most secluded area of the coffee shop where we first met,

All I can think about is the veracity of our love and the tenebrosity of your death,

It feels so surreal, to think about losing the pre-eminent part of my life,

How it all changed in the middle of the most excruciating night,

Now all that's left are just clueless paths of my retention,

The only memories I have of you are a few words from our last contention,

In my favorite brown trench coat, I'm now staring at a child with the brightest blue eyes,

He seems to have the same color as yours, except it resembles soothing skies,

My lips curl up into a smile, it's the first time I've smiled in your absence,

But that smile soon vanishes as I re-think about the reason of your obsolescence,

The world's dark once again as your images fill my mind,

It feels like every twisted lie slowly begins to unwind...
