Both Felix and Changbin were blushing hard when they were woken by the other four presence who wouldn't stop teasing them after.
Finally they gathered in the dining hall and the Moons served everyone the dinner themselves. The Baeks tried to help but weren't just to to sit and enjoy. And honestly they loved the special treatment.
Chan entered the dining hall just as the rest settled down.
Everyone looked at him with concerned expressions.
"I am not dying. So stop looking at me that way." He chuckled but sadness was evident in his eyes.
"Are you really okay, Channie hyung?" Jisung asked.
"I am. Now that you all have started to call me Channie hyung again." He smiled at the Baek princes who smiled back warmly.
Chan sat on his chair and looked at the door of the hall waiting for a certain someone.
"I don't think he'd join us today." Jeongin said softly.
Chan nodded.
"We are all so sorry, hyung. I know none of you want an apology but we owe it to you. The regret we feel is immeasurable. We were drowned in our own sorrow we never noticed yours." Felix said and the other two Baeks nodded in agreement.
"Yah, we are family. Families fight, they misunderstand and sometimes fall apart. But in the end, they are still family." Chan said sincerely.
They all smiled heartily at each other.
"I just hope he comes around soon as well." Chan said, as he looked down at his plate to hide the pain in his eyes from others. But they had already noticed it.
"He's changed so much. He wouldn't even talk to us about anything. He even stopped painting." Felix said sadly.
Chan's heart broke at that.
"He was painting something, you know, all those years ago. I remember he was so excited about it. I asked him if I could see it but he said it wasn't finished. He told me I would be the first he showed it to right when was done, it was my supposed to be my gift from him before I returned home, something to remember him by. I didn't even get to tell him that I didn't need any present to remember him. How could I ever possibly forget him? But I didn't even get to see the painting." Chan said, his voice filled with immense longing.
"He is blinded by anger like we were. I just don't get why he is obeying the Kangs just to seek revenge from you all. Especially when he loves you so much!" Jeongin voiced out his frustration.
"He...he loves me?" Chan looked up expectantly, he seemed just like a small pup who just heard the word "treat".
"Of course he does! Since forever." Felix said happily.
"It's so obvious! We all can see it. We saw it even when we were kids. Everyone can see it except the two of you." Minho added.
"I love him too! So much! Every moment without him is worse than any torture in world. I just don't have the chance to tell him that. I don't even know if he would even believe me or anything I say." Chan said.
"He would, hyung. We all believe you now. He will too. He is being a pabo right but just give him time." Jisung assured.
"Yes, we can talk to Hyunjin hyung after dinner. He must have calmed down a bit by now. We'll him everything and then it'll all be alright." Seungmin told Chan.
