Chapter 14

"So I fetch you at eight o'clock to go to the ball"Sandy said
"Sure"I said smiling
"Okay, bye"he said and walked away. I waved and opened my locker. I felt someone opening the locker next to mine, Jack
"Hi Jack"I said smiling and closing my locker but he just ignored me, he was pretending that I wasn't there. Suddenly, Tooth came
"Hi Jack, I heard you wanted to tell me something"she said putting a super big layer of lipgloss
"Emm"Jack said rubbing the back of his neck and glanced at me. I bit my lip and looked into my locker"I wanted to know if-if you wanted to go with me-to-the-ball"he said quickly the last four words. I felt like if someone had put a knife through my heart, I wanted to cry
"Obviously"Tooth said and hugged Jack. Now, I wanted to punch her but I just to out a white page and crumbled it. I just took out my phone and my headphones and started listening to music. I don't know why but that calms me. When I calmed down I put away my headphones and my phone and closed my locker. I went to the Geography class, I hate it. At least we have Miss Jane that instead of teaching us she tell us stories about her journeys to different isles and countries. Once she told us how she met her husband, Tarzan. She told us that he acted like a monkey and was pretty strange but she started falling in love with him. So romantic!

I entered the class and saw Jack woth Tooth. Again that feelingof the knife. Argh! It hurts a lot! But why? Why does it hurt a lot? I shook off the question and sat next to Jack
"H-"Jack started but he was cut off by Tooth
"I was talking to you"she said in a selfish tone making me roll my eyes. Tooth grabbed Jack's head and made him face her. Jealous! I sighed and rested my head on one of my hands bored
"Hi"someone said making me jump of horror. I turned round and saw Punzie sitting next to me with big smile. Anna sat in front of me and Merida next to her
"Els, you will come with us to choose a dress fpr the ball, right?"Anna said turning round
"Do I have to wear a dress?"Merida said turning round, too
"Yes"the three of us said at the same time and she sighed in frustation. Punzie rolled her eyes
"So are you coming?"Anna asked
"Sure! But we can't today remember we have the choir auditions"I told them
"You are right, we can go tomorrow"Punzie suggested
"That sounds right to me"I said, Anna and Merida agreeded
"Did someone invite you?"I asked Punzie
"Yeah, Flynn invited me"Punzie said sqealing making me giggle
"And you Mer?"I faced Merida
"Actually, Hiccup invited me"she said and smiled. I didn't imagine the two of them together, you know Merida is brave and likes action, and Hiccup is calm and likes books. Anyways, I don't know him that much to know if he is also adventurous, too. In that moment Miss Jane entered the class
"Good afternoon, students"she said. I saw in the corner of my eye Tooth giving Jack a note. I read it it said: 'I'm happy you invited ME to the ball' The "me" was in capital letter as to remark it. Jack ganced at Tooth and she gave him a very big smile and Jack faked a smile and when Tooth wasn't looking, he crumbled the note and threw it to the floor

I think Jack didn't want to invite Tooth to the ball...
