Shadow only appears on reflective surfaces. If he wants to be seen he'll just appear next to sabre in a spirit like form (basically he's transperant but can still touch people) in this au sabre and shadow share a body and shadow can take control of the body if sabre allows him to or in emergencys. If one of them is unavailable (like knocked out) the other will automatically be in control of the body while the one who's unavailable recovers.
(Also they have a sibling dynamic)
