A brown haired boy who
looked about 5 or 6 years
old who might i add
had way
too many scars and cuts
on his knees and elbows
was swinging all alone
near a crowd of kids.
One of the kids from the
crowd slowly walked up to
the mysterious
brown haired boy
"Hey!! My name is Mike
whats yours?" said a black
haired child who spoke
very loudly yet so calmly.
Starstruck the mystery brown
headed boy replied "H-hi i'm will"
in a such a quiet voice
in which someone would've
thought he
was whispering and
would've teased him as all
the other kids did.
Not Mike though he was special.

Will woke up on a Saturday
on a gorgeous gleaming morning
to the sound of birds
chirping
happily while will
still thinking
about the dream
he just had about Mike
his teenage male best friend
who Will wished he was
more than.
Will had the biggest urge to call
mike but started to overthink "What
if he thinks i'm clingy?
Then doesn't
wanna talk to me anymore?!"
it was as if the
universe was listening to will
ramble to himself because
suddenly the yellow worn
out telephone rang.
Will sprinted to the hallway
and answered the phone
"Hey Joyce?"
slowly Wills smile faded
when he realized it was
his so called
"father" Lonnie
who used to call him
homophobic slurs
and used to abuse him
and his older
brother Jonathan
luckily his mother divorced him
a few years ago
"What do you want?" said
the angered teenage boy
"Will? Never mind just tell your mom
to call me back later."
said Wills "father"
"No just tell me." Will insisted hoping
he had changed.
"Can i borrow some money...again?"
Will frustrated that his so
called father even had the nerve
to ask that.
"No you deadbeat stop stealing
from people who surprisingly
care about you get a job
you're pathetic ."
he then hung up.
