*a.n. hey everyone! hope you're all doing well! todays chapter was requested by the very awesome @blue_jay3513, massive thanks for the request as i've been meaning to write about him for a while :) also, i was watching origin tonight and got some inspo for this chapter too (up the blues btw XD) and was so excited to see burto score on his debut!! super exciting!! anyways, without further ado, enjoy the chapter!*
dating matt burton would include:
- wearing all of his jerseys
- being super close with all his family
- his family immediately accepting you as one of their own
- always getting teased by family and friends about how you two should just hurry up and settle down and start a family together
- him always taking you to show you where he grew up and the different houses he lived in, places he regularly visited, etc
- going to all of his games
- being the most picture perfect, storybook, fairy tale, rom-com couple ever
- everyone being able to tell you two are soulmates
- cafe dates
- being super proud of how awesome his footy career is turning out
- him being quietly protective of you. like he will never tell you not to talk to someone but if you do he will definitely come up and put his arm around your waist, just to let the other person know you're his. it is pretty cute tho.
- staring into his eyes whenever you have the chance (have y'all seen how pretty they are XD)
- stealing all of his clothes and accessories so you can wear them
- him dedicating all of his footy games to you
- whenever he's out in public with you and he gets asked for a photo/autograph you will always tease him about it later, calling him a celebrity/superstar and him getting all red and cute
