Goldie reached the table. She was hungry, ''So, why not have a bite. It's not like anyone's going to find out,'' she thought.
She had a spoonful of porridge from the first bowl and immediately regretted as her tongue was almost on fire.
''Too warm!'' she gasped, while fanning her tongue.
Then, She reached the second bowl, had a spoonful and made a face.
''Eww...! Too cold,'' she pushed the bowl away.
Finally, she had a spoonful from the third bowl. It was perfect.
She finished the whole thing even though that was not her intention.
She had been starving.
