The base is where you first go to when you arrive at the facility. It is also where you will meet a tour guide, and be shown around the facility.
You know where the base is because it has a pink shield around it that stops any Gootraxians from entering into it. Thought, when Poweroutages and Blackouts happen, the shield fails, and Gootraxians can get into the base without a worry.
