One of my favorite memories of summer in Cousins started with a song and ended with a boy.
"Steven, I need a partner." Flashback Bella says.
Steven scoffs, "Yeah, right."
Conrad turns to her, "Here, I'll show you."
"What about the game?"
"Give me one second."
Conrad goes to stand infront of Bella, "Copy me."
"One, two-three. One, two-three. Rock step." Bella mutters along, "One, two, three. One, two, three. Rock step."
Steven scoffs, "Bella, you're not even on the beat." Jeremiah and Steven laugh but Bella ignores it.
"How'd you learn to shag?"
"My mom."
"One, two-three."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. Easy."
"Cool. And one, two, three, rock step."
"One, two, three. One, two, three. Rock step."
"Hmm? Okay."
Both of them start laughing as Bella hits Conrad during the dance, "Whoops. Sorry."
"It's okay. It's fine. Let's try again. Come on. Okay. Give me your hand."
"My hand's kind of sweaty."
"That's okay. Mine, too."
Back in the real world Bella is practicing for the deb ball, well the others are Bella is awkwardly standing in the middle since she has no date to the debutante ball.
She was currently texting Conrad on her phone, or at least trying too. Last night after they're kiss he walked her to her room upstairs and they kissed again. A goodnight kiss as she would like to call it, but Taylor would've seen it as making out. Technically they did make out in her room, after they already kissed outside but nobody needed to know that.
Bella sends him a goodmorning text, which he quickly replies to with:
Goodmorning, I'll be at the deb house in a bit. Need to talk with Nicole..
