I did my best to compile a short list of some favorite fics here that are originally published elsewhere, but available on Wattpad through third party accounts. All of the accounts that posted these fics have other fics up you should enjoy as well.

Author Summary: It's a jinx that renders the victim mute, unless he/she serves the purpose of the jinx and kisses the person that they desire. It's just Harry's luck that he's in love with Draco. HPDM, one-shot, eighth year.

Commentary: this fic brings me so much joy. Harry has been jinxed with the inability to speak until he kisses the person he desires. He knows it's Draco, we know it's Draco, but Draco doesn't know it's Draco, and thus you get a wonderful little plot. They start becoming friends, Harry communicating with notes, hiding out from mobs of other Hogwarts students together, and when they do finally kiss? Well, I'll let you see.

Author Summary: Year 6 at Hogwarts and Draco finds a way to spy on Harry's deepest fears. But will he use this knowledge to gain power over Harry, or to change his own destiny?

Commentary: This fic is a classic. It's funny, it's emotional, and it's definitely worth a read. In this, Draco is struggling. He wants to help his family (this fic features a Lucius that is a good father, but still a bad man) and yet he knows that no one is safe under Voldemort's regime. The only other person who understands this is Harry, whose nightmares have been torturing him. So, Draco finds a way to drop into his dreams and ends up getting closer with Harry than he ever planned.

Except that Malfoy no longer felt like his enemy.

Commentary: Read it. Go on, right now, shoo. I'll wait. This fic is so well known in the broader fandom that reccing it seems unnecessary, but it has surprisingly few reads on Wattpad, so just in case... If you love watching the 8th years play party games together as much as I do (I'll be doing a trope rec list of that later on!) then you've gotta check this out. The sexual tension between Drarry here is incredible. Not to mention that the side characters are hilarious and so fun. Give it a read.

Author Summary: One good turn always deserves another. Apparently.

Commentary: Okay, is this my favorite fic ever written? Yes. But it's more than that. Everything saras_girl has written is brilliant, so if you've not read all of his works yet you absolutely must do that (Reparations and On a Clear Day are two more all-time favs, but not on Wattpad). This fic surpasses them all. It's about Harry being stuck at a place in his life where he has everything he wanted but he's ultimately unhappy. We pick up pretty much where the Epilogue left off, Harry being married to Ginny and having three kids, being an auror, Draco married to Astoria... but then Harry decides to be helpful to a friendly stranger, and gets a gift in return. He is transported to an alternate reality where he made one different choice in his past and it changed everything. He helped Draco during the war, and that lead to them being married, working a totally different career, having friends and godchildren he never expected, and pretty much every other aspect of his life changing.
I cannot say everything I want to say about this fic. It is gorgeous. It feels like coming home. Eventually, we get to watch Harry return to his old life, now knowing what might have been, and try to pick up the pieces. And, y'all, his efforts are beautiful.
Featuring: Blaise being the love of my life, Draco with OCD, Harry being physically disabled (in one reality), volunteering on holidays, sex in malfoy manor, lots of fun friendship dynamics, exciting Auror work, exceptionally perfect original characters, lovely animal companions, and more.
If you're not interested in smut, it isn't excessive and should be pretty easy to skip. Also, I read this fic for the first time on Wattpad, so you might even be able to find some of my comments and experience the incredible emotions with me. Go do it.

That's it for now! I'll be structuring this rec collection into tropes and themes now, because there are so so so many amazing Drarry fanfics out there that I could not possibly just give them to you in a long list and expect you to find your way... nor could I formulate such a list while doing the fics any sort of justice.
