Super Junior was at dance practice.
They were gonna release a new song named 'Mamacita'.
Heechul really wasn't in the mood for work today.
He just wanted to sleep.
"Chul-ah, are you there?!" a hand waved infront of his face.
It was Eunhyuk.
"Oh, hi Hyung" Heechul smiles.
"Are you okay Chullie?" Eunhyuk asked.
"Just tired" Heechul answerd.
"Because of your Halmoni?" Eunhyuk asked concerned.
Heechul nods.
Heechul's Halmoni, his eomma's eomma, had been very sick for a few months now, she was in hospital.
Heechul hated that she was sick but the woman was 94 years old, so he understod.
But it didn't make it easier as the old woman had helped raising Heechul since his parents worked a lot due to them being quite poor.
Eunhyuk hugged him before they went back to dance practice.
A few hours later they took another break and Heechul was cuddling with Yesung and Sungmin.
Just then, Heechul's phone rings.
"Kim Heechul speaking" Heechul answers.
"Hello Heechul-sshi, this is Dr Han at the Hospital... you might want to get here quickly, your Halmoni isn't doing well" Dr Han said.
"Oh... thank you" Heechul whispers.
"Chul-ah?" Donghae asked softly.
"It's Halmoni, she isn't doing well~" Heechul whispers.
They immediately drove to the hospital.
When they got there, Heechul saw his parents.
"Eomma, Appa, how is she?" he asked and hugged them.
"Not well, Dr Han don't think she will be alive by the evening" his Eomma sniffles.
Heechul felt tears gather in his eyes.
They had already talked to the old woman.
They were all allowed to enter the room, Dr Han and a nurse stod in the corner, and Heechul saw his Halmoni laying on the bed.
She looks over at him and smiles.
"There is my pretty, Heechul-ah" she smiles.
"Hi Halmoni" Heechul said and sits down on the bed, taking her hand in his.
"I don't have much strength left..." the old woman whisper.
"I know" Heechul sniffles.
Halmoni looks at SuJu members.
"I trust you boys to continue taking care of my Darling" she said.
"Of course, Halmoni" they agreed softly.
She smiled at them and then looks back at Heechul.
"I'm so proud of you and I love you so much... remember that" she said and close her eyes.
"I know and I love you too" Heechul whispers.
Halmoni smiled.
"You think Halabeoji is waiting for me on the other side?" she asked.
Heechul let out a sob.
"I know he is" he cried.
"Well then... I want to join him but I don't want to leave you" she whispers.
Heechul leans over and kissed her cheek.
"It's okay Halmoni, Halabeoji is waiting for you... you can go to him" Heechul said and stroked her white hair.
"I'll always be with you" she whispers before she took her last breath, which ended in a relived sigh.
The heart monitor flat lined and a long one toned 'beep' echo inside the room.
Heechul and his Eomma cried even harder.
His Appa held his wife while Heechul's members hugged their Maknae.
"It's okay, she is no longer in pain" Leeteuk whispers into his hair.
Heechul nods into his shoulder.
He was happy that she was in peace.
He was happy she didn't feel any pain anymore.
He was happy she was with Halabeoji.
He knew he was going to see her again one day...
But... that didn't mean that it was any easier losing his Halmoni.
