Claire's POV
"Wake up sissy!" Alice says "it's Christmas" she jumps on my bed, I groan
"Ughh leave me alone" I tell her as I roll out of bed and put my hair up. Almost 8 months pregnant and getting really close to my due date. I go downstairs and see the tree packed with presents
"Mommy, can we open them?" Alice begs my mom who was making cookies for our family Christmas party at my aunt Marla's house.
"I wanna see you guys open them, so hold on one second" she puts the cookies in the oven and sets the timer, then she sits on the couch "ok, grab one" she says and Alice and Scott start searching for their names
"Here sissy" Scott says, handing me a present with my name on it
"Thanks Scottie" I say, opening it. It was bibs for my baby. I just remembered I forgot those at the store when me and Eileen went. Scott and Alice opened there's and every time they would say
"I've always wanted that" they both shout. After all the gifts were open, I texted Eileen and Hayden and told them merry Christmas.
A couple hours later
We packed the car with the cookies and the presents for our family. We drove about an hour to our aunt's house. When we got there, my aunt greets us as we walk in
"Merry Christmas" she says and hugs us. Scott runs away to play with Isaac, our youngest baby cousin and Alice runs away to play with Isaac's older sister Eden who happens to be the same age as Alice.
I help mom bring in the presents, but I get stopped by our family, saying congrats on the baby and being told how amazing I was for being so strong. I'm so glad my family was so supportive during this hard time I was going through. Although not every one was nice. My mom's older brother (my uncle)'s daughter Scarlett made fun of me for having a baby so early in life.
She was 22 and was still a virgin and thought she was better than me because she hasn't had sex with anyone yet.
"Why would you have sex with someone without marrying them first?" She said "also just that fact that your 16 and having a human child" she added "you will never have a good life with a child and he'll be dependent on YOU... so good luck" she says and walks away. I just stand there wondering why she was so mean ON CHRISTMAS.
