„I'm so excited! You don't even know how happy I am, we're gonna get married!“

Y/n squealed happily and jumped into my arms.
We were planning the wedding for almost a month and now it's tomorrow... I feel like it was only yesterday when I introduced Y/n to my parents. I need to stay clean because I know it means a lot to Y/n, the love of my life.

The wedding is gonna be in the garden of our house, we will invite our families and all of our friends....

Tomorrow is going to be the best day in my life

Duff, his wife Mandy, Slash and Izzy decided to sleep over and help us with the preparations for the big day.
I need to relax a bit, I haven't slept for 27 hours for god's sake. It's really stressful to have everything prepared and I'm nervous and-

Damn I need some alcohol... Or weed? Cocaine? No I can't disappoint Y/n, I promised her I'll-
The voices in my head were insane. My head felt like burning as I rushed through my bathroom door. I looked in the mirror and yelled from the top of my lungs: 
„Fuck why me?! Why?!“

Tears were streaming down my face and I fell on the ground, crying.

I love Y/n so much I can't even explain but- What if I'm not ready? What if I won't be good enough for her? What if I'll ruin her life?
Too many questions...
Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted

Knock knock

„Steven?“
the voice behind the door sounded really stressed.
„Steven it's me, Duff. Y/n was looking for you everywhere so she just wanted to know that you're okay. Can I come in?“

Yeah, that's exactly what I need. But we don't have to drown in sarcasm, right?

„Are you okay?“ he asked once again, but I couldn't answer. He must think I'm either dead or completely crazy...

After few more seconds the door opened and the tall blonde walked in. „Jesus Christ Steven!“ he screamed when he saw me in this state.

Duff
I couldn't believe my eyes. The drummer was laying on the ground, curled in a ball like a little kid.
„What happened?“
I asked, trying to lift him up from the ground.

No answer.

Finally I helped him to go to the bedroom and sat with him on the bed.
„Okay, now calm down and tell me what happened“

„I- I don't know about the wedding... What if I won't be a good husband for Y/n? I promised I'll stay clean only because of her, she's the love of my life, she's my world and-“
he whispered and started crying again.

„Hey it's gonna be alright I promise. You two are literally the perfect couple and she loves you as much as you love her. I know marriage is a really big decision but you're an adult and only you can know what do you wanna do with your life. I think you should marry Y/n, you two are gonna be the best pair.“

the room went silent and I hugged him. He was still shaking a bit but suddenly he broke the silence:

„Thank you Duff... Thank you for helping me with this cause you and the whole band are my friends, my family. I would be lost without you“

The next day~

„Steven Adler, do you take Y/n for your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do you part?

„Yes, Yes I do“

I smiled and kissed my beautiful wife
It was the sweetest kiss I could ever dream of
