CHAPTER 37

I stopped the car when I arrived outside Beatrice's house. I texted her that I'm here already so just a few seconds after, I saw her went out on their gate and immediately hopped inside the car.

"Bakit, ate Ivy?"

Iyon agad ang binungad niyang tanong sa akin nang makasakay siya sa kotse samantalang pinaandar ko naman agad ulit 'yon at nagdrive na paalis.

"May ipapasuyo lang ako... Can you buy me pregnancy test kit again?" I asked.

"What? Why?" she asked, confused and shocked at the same time.

I gulped and I didn't get to answer her question.

Kanina habang nasa bahay ako at nakakulong ng ilang oras sa kwarto, nag-isip-isip ako at sinabi ko sa sarili ko na hindi ko dapat kinaiinggitan si Ally. Even though she hasn't confirmed it yet if she's really pregnant or not, dapat wala akong maramdamang iba sakaniya.

But as time passes by, I remembered what Beatrice told me before I got to take a pregnancy test last time. Yung mga sinabi niyang symptoms ng isang buntis, I analyzed that in my mind and I just realized I've been feeling and I had some symptoms of it.

Lately I've been feeling dizzy, I often crave for foods, and that I didn't got my period again...

"Maybe I'm pregnant. And that's why I'm asking you to buy me pregnancy test again so I could confirm it." I said.

"O-Okay..."

Hindi nalang din ako nagsalita at ganon din siya.

I may look calm right now but my heart is beating damn fast because of nervousness. Kinakabahan ako ng todo sa loob-loob ko.

I haven't talked to Josh the whole day after we argued at their house. I also didn't receive a single message coming from him. And he's not also at their house anymore dahil wala na roon yung kotse niya. I guess he came back at his condo so I'm planning to drop by there later after ni Beatrice makabili ng PT na magagamit ko.

Anong oras na rin, gabi na at hindi pa ako kumakain. I also haven't eaten lunch because I have no appetite.

As of now, Ally's friends were left at the house. They will be staying overnight but it's not a problem because we have guest rooms for them to stay in for a while. Yung mga kaibigan lang ni Ally ang nandoon dahil kagaya ko, umalis din siya, nauna lang siya ng ilang minuto sa akin, at wala rin si Dad, late na raw siyang makakauwi dahil may pinuntahan siya. When I asked Lexi about it dahil sandali siyang lumapit sakin kanina, sabi niya ay pupuntahan daw ni Ally yung boyfriend niya sa condo nito at babalik din kaagad sa bahay silang dalawa.

I thanked Beatrice when she got to buy me three pregnancy test kits. I asked her to bought three para makasiguro ako.

I then drived our way to Josh's condo. I know we aren't okay but I'll just face him and told him about this. Kung gusto niya, doon ko pa itry 'to sa condo niya para lang paniwalaan niya ako at para makita rin niya mismo ang kung anong magiging resulta.

I breathed in and out repeatedly.

"Let's go, Beatrice. Samahan mo muna ako sa loob." sabi ko kay Beatrice at agad kaming bumaba ng sasakyan nang maipark ko na iyon.

I still feel nervous up to now to the point that my arms were shaking a bit. Beatrice must've noticed it kaya nginitian niya ako at hinawakan sa balikat. I looked at her and smiled too.

And as I look forward when we're already at the lobby, I saw two familiar figures in a distance from us standing and looking at each other seriously, they look like they're having a serious conversation.
