Gregory waited inside one of the tunnels in the snow fort with a stack of snowballs at his side. Sunny was next to him, a little anxious about this.

"R-really? A war? But... but what if someone gets hurt? And who are we fighting?!"

Gregory scoffed: "it'll be fiiiine! It's just snowballs! And I made sure there weren't any chunks of ice or rocks in them. You can throw to your heart's content! We're gonna wage war against the adults... starting with... AHA!" Gregory shouted as he saw Freddy exiting the house. He quickly worked his way out of the tunnel and behind a snow barrier with a massive snow ball in hand.

"THINK FAST!" He shouted as he watched Freddy look around bewildered. He had originally come outside to check on the kids when it had suddenly gotten quiet outside. He was worried something bad might have happened. Despite how much trust he put into Gregory to keep Sunny and himself safe out here, he couldn't help but worry.

WHAM! Freddy was nailed in the head with a snowball that knocked him off his feet from the shock of it. Gregory couldn't help but wince a little at his own strength and accuracy. Once he saw Freddy standing up however, he couldn't help but break out into laughter. Sunny too realized that everything was fine and let out the air he had been holding in. The fire in his lungs didn't stop his urge to laugh along with Gregory. The two rolled onto their backs almost crying from laughing so hard.

"D-did you see how hard he fell?! Pfff and his face right before!-" Gregory interrupted his own remarks by wheeze laughing and rolling around in the snow.

As he sat up, he suddenly saw a massive shadow encroaching on the two of them. Before he even realized what was happening, he and Sunny were tackled back down hard. Freddy had jumped onto the two trouble makers like a wild animal — careful not to hurt them of course.

"That's it! You want a fight? You're getting one!" Freddy said as he grabbed Gregory and tickled his neck where his coat exposed it. Gregory immediately squealed and tried to roll out of his grasp.

"Run Sunny! RUN! Save yourself!" Gregory shouted in between fits of laughter.

Sunny was about to run away when the front door opened. They all turned to see Manon standing on the porch with his brows furrowed. He seemed a bit confused on what exactly was happening out here. Before he knew it, Freddy had pelted him in the face with a snowball with a crazy grin.

"Turn that frown upside down you grinch!" Freddy called out as he wound up his arm for another snowball. Gregory regained his energy after the relentless tickling fit he had received and wound up his arm with a snowball as well.

They were the ones left confused now, as Manon's face twisted with an evil grin. He jumped off the porch at record speeds. He cartwheeled through the snow, dodging Freddy and Gregory's assault. He finally flipped and landed in front of Sunny before scooping the kid up and retreating behind the fort.

"SUNNY! Our ally has been kidnapped! Quick Freddy, we have to go save him!" Gregory shouted as he grabbed an armful of snowballs and snaked his way through one of the tunnels.

Freddy made to follow him with his own batch of snowballs, but he knew the tunnels wouldn't hold his 'dad bod'. He regretfully walked around the fort instead, albeit not very sneakily as he crunched through the snow. They stalked their prey carefully. Gregory stuck his head out of the fort and looked down. He and Freddy found Sunny sitting on his own in a little pit of snow. Manon had clearly dug it out hastily as a makeshift prison for the boy. Sunny giggled and waved to them.

While the two were distracted, wondering why Manon dug a hole and stuck his son in it, they both were pelted square in the back by a hard snowball. They whirled around to see Manon sitting near them at the top of the fort. He was almost right next to Gregory. Thinking fast, the kid slid down the tunnel he had climbed up through just as Manon's hand almost snatched his coat.
