Chapter 5

Dee POV :

"DEE WAKE YOUR ASS UP!!"
I heard my mom shout from downstairs

I turned over on my bed to see the time on my clock
It was 7:08 I get up from bed

I go to the bathroom and take a shower and get ready I walk downstairs

Heavy pushes me while running down the stairs
"WATCH IT" I sat while looking at heavy

"Sorry Dee it just that I'm hungry and dad cooking today" he says while walking backwards talking to me

I roll my eyes as I enter the kitchen
The table is being set up by my mom

I sit at my seat and then my dad serves the food
My dad then sits and stares at me

He then says " Dee I have a favor to ask of you. Can you go to the store down the street and pick up a few things??"  He then proceeded to give me a list

I stare at the list for a while
I start thinking about his favor then say " no sorry I can't I'm busy"

He stared at me and then said " well then you can take heavy care of whatever important things you have."

I then sigh and say " fine I'll go pick up the things at the store"

Good then you can take heavy with you"
He says while smiling at me like always

I grab my bag and start heading out
Heavy is right behind me talking about how he is so much better and cooler than me.

I just rolled my eyes not paying attention to him the whole time. Instead I put on my headphones and listen to Knives and Pens by Black Veil Brides.

When we get there heavy has gotten all the stuff he wants and goes to pay he then looks at me and says I'll see you at home I bet I can beat you he says then proceeded to run off

I know he has got to be joking
I keep grabbing the rest of the stuff on the list my dad gave me. When I'm about to I turn and then bumped into something I felt something hard hit my chest I look down to see her

She was on the ground as well as the rest of her stuff

I extended my hand and say " Sorry about that"
She says " I am perfectly fine of getting up myself"
She gets up and picks up her stuff that fell on the ground I was going to offer to help but it seemed that she's in a bad mood

Then I saw that there was a cat outside looking inside the shop looking at something.

I then go to the cat food aisle thinking if it's a stray cat and grab it some food. I see the girl in front of me she about to pay to I think to myself

I'm next in line when she goes outside I see the cat follow her.
"Is she also feeding the stray cat?" I wonder to myself

I continue to pay for the stuff and head outside with the can of food in my hand to see her giving something to the cat

I then see her and the cat staring at me
Well I gotta say that I was the one staring first

I was so confused if it was a stray or not so I then asked " Is that your cat??"

She says "yea it's my cat?!?!" She seemed so defensive about it though

" oh I thought your cat was stray but here's a can of cat food I got for your cat" I said while handing the cat food to her

Thanks she said all confused but she seemed nice

then I turned around then said bye I guess I'll see ya around

Who would've thought we would become so much more
