Chapter 13

*Luca was frozen in place as his Mom Daniela stood there with her husband Lorenzo both of them shocked that there was a human underwater his Mom stared at him with disapproval in her eyes*

Daniela:Luca why is there a human here?
Luca:This is the girl I told you I had a crush on...
Daniela:No this has to be a joke
Luca:I'm being very serious Mom I love her
You:And I love him
Daniela:Are you seeing this Lorenzo?
Lorenzo:It seems like he's happy to be with her
Daniela:Don't you dare agree with this!
Grandma Paguro:Daniela calm down please
Daniela:I can't when my son is dating a human!
Alberto:Mrs.Paguro Luca and Y/N love each other very much I promise you that
Daniela:Don't get into this conversation young man

*that comment hurt Luca as tears started to run down his face as you grabbed his hand trying your best to comfort him Alberto doing the same as well Daniela put her hand on her face shaking her head then she looked over at you swimming towards you she grabbed your hand and swam where the surface was Luca, Alberto, Lorenzo and his grandmother following along you got to the surface as Luca plead his Mom to let you go but she ignored him*

You:What are you going to do to me?
Daniela:Sending you home
Luca:Mom please don't do this I love her!
Daniela:Go home Luca I'll deal with you later
Luca:But Mo-
Daniela:I said go home!

*Luca never had his Mom yell at him like that before which scared him a bit he cried swimming away as his Dad and Alberto followed his grandmother stayed just in case Daniela was gonna do something bad to you but luckily for you she just dropped you off in the surface looking into your eyes with anger*

Daniela:Stay away from my son, got it?
You:But why? He is what makes me happy...
Daniela:I don't want to see him get hurt
You:I get it...I'll leave you guys alone I'm sorry
Daniela:You should be you could have got Luca killed
You:But I'll never put him in any danger
Daniela:I don't believe it you probably plan on liking him when his back his turn

*she dove back into the water as you sat on the ground hugging your legs crying as rain started to pour over you Daniela smiled a bit knowing she did a great job at protecting her son she saw her Mom standing waiting there with a anger expression*

Daniela:Mom what are you still doing here?
Grandma Paguro:Did you really have to do that?
Daniela:I'm only looking out for Luca
Grandma Paguro:By getting rid of something he loves?
Daniela:Look Mom she's a human and he's a sea monster they'll never work out
Grandma Paguro:Love comes in all shapes and sizes

Daniela:I don't have time for this

Daniela:Let's just go home I have to talk with Luca

*as they both swam home as they saw Luca, Alberto and Lorenzo eating Luca saw his Mom and got angry and saw to the next room Alberto following him Daniela rolled her eyes not wanting to deal with any more of this for today she sat down with Lorenzo she ate she looked over at Lorenzo who was playing with his crabs she tapped him as he looked over to her*

Daniela:Do you think Luca hates me now?
Grandma Paguro:Maybe
Lorenzo:Of course not dear he just needs space is all
Daniela:Okay just wanted to make sure thanks

*after dinner they all went to bed Alberto slept over to make sure Luca was okay and needed some support Daniela was still awake thinking about what she did and what her Mom said thinking if she even did the right thing she know felt guilt*

Daniela:What have I done?
