The King and Queen of Hastinapur were lounging in their chambers, lost in similar thoughts. The conversation with Bhishma reeled in their minds, his advice holding importance for their only daughter’s joyful life. At the same time, the proposal was favorable.

The Blindfolded Empress was well familiar with Karna’s utmost care and generosity, a quality present among few of the blue blood. Kindness was the trait Gandhari deemed the most necessary in a human being and this was why she thought that Karn would give her daughter the love and happiness that she deserved.

On the other hand, the Blind King’s thoughts were occupied with the power that would come from the marriage of his daughter to Karn. It would not only guarantee a luxurious life to his daughter but also provide the support of Magadha to his son.

Karn stood at the balcony of the corridor, with a hand on his chin, gazing at the sky and feeling a restless surface from the pit of his stomach and mingling with the rest of his being, making him stiff with tension. Usually, looking at his father suryadev did not make him clench his eyes shut or feel immense heat like others did, it provided him with much needed calmness and the feeling of belonging. But not today.

Something is wrong, that was the only thought that whirred in his brain as his eyes took in the bright yellow hues of the sky. Mind full of his own waring thoughts, Karn did not hear the tinkling of anklets that announced the presence of YadavKumari and GandhariSutaa.

The corners of Subhadhra’s mouth curled upwards as she walked up to him with Dushala, addressing him with her soft voice.

“Hello Vrisha.”

Karn started at the use of that particular name by the much familiar voice and turned to see Subhadra and Dusshala.

“Pranipat Subhadra . Pranipat.” The greeting was relied on with the same respect.

“You called me Vrisha.” Karn was brought up absentmindedly. “May I know why?”

“No particular reason.” Subhadhara replied, an enchanting smile playing on her lips. “It is just that I have always heard my brother called you as such, so I decided to give it a try.”

Karn nodded in understanding before turning his gaze back to the sky.

“It is Maharaj’s birthday tomorrow, the whole city is painted in the colors of joy but,” Subhadra started, taking a long glance at Karn’s features, “I do not see the same emotions being reflected on your face.”

Karn heaved a sigh. “It is just that…..I have an unsettling feeling….and I cannot guess the reason for it….”

Subhadhara’s eyebrows knitted together. “Is it your health? Can it be that you’re tired after your battle with Dronacharya?”

“No Subhadra, it is not my health.” Karn’s voice held certainty this time. “I feel like something unfavorable is to happen…..Madhav’s wedding is also very close….two days after tomorrow….I just hope everything goes smoothly.

Subhadhara nodded, despite the confusion that etched her face.

“Okay Subhadra.” Karn addressed. “I must leave now. There is some work that needs my attention.”

He walked away as Dusshala shook her friends out of her thoughts.

A man who is in his mid age was sitting in front of hawan kund , offering to lord agni , there were so many sages in the place , while a woman was standing far from a distance watching his father doing yagna , the women is shikhandi , commander in chief of southern panchal , dhrupad who found sage yaaja and upayaaja in the forest of kampilya , after the panchal war . In order to take revenge on Drona , Dhrupad needed a son so he decided to do yagna .
When he found these sages , luckily they both agreed to do yagna , dhrupad invited both the sages to his kingdom with utmost respect since then he is doing yagna along with the sages

After doing yagna for one month suddenly the fire started to flame more , dhrupad looked at both sages , yaaja spokes “ maharaj , lord agni dev is impressed with your offerings you can ask your wish to him

dhrupad nodded and stood up , and started to speak “ i want a son who should take revenge on drona on behalf of me , who should be handsome as fire and should be the pride of me , who should be divine and be the one who can make enemy tremble in fear in battle field saying this he cut the hand to offer his blood as he did that the flame reached the height of sky and the young handsome man emerged from the fire , everyone looked at him awe

As soon as he was out of the fire he went directly towards dhrupad and got blessings from him by touching his feet , dhrupad smiled happily as he wish got fulfilled of getting son , he guided him to the sages to get blessings from him, they both blessed him and named him Dhrishtadyumna the one  is courageous and splendorous .

when dhrupad started to leave the place where yagna held along with son and daughter but both yaaja and upayaaja stopped him saying that yagna isn't completed yet

dhrupad looked at the sages confusingly as he got the son by yagna which he desired for but why the sages are telling yagna is not completed yet

dhrupad : i didn't understand maharishi i got i wished for i got my son

upayaaja : maharaj but lord Agni dev wanted to bless you with a daughter along with your son , you have to accept his blessings.

dhrupad : daughter??

yaaja : yes maharaj .

dhrupad never wished for a daughter but rather he was happy to receive another blessing from lord agni dev

dhrupad : i want a daughter who should be pure and beautiful as fire , who should be courageous as well as intelligent

when dhrupad finished his request for daughter, the hawan kund again lighted the fire up and beautiful young maiden came out of the fire , everyone looked at her in awe

she did the same thing as her twin brother by getting blessings from his father and the sages

Both sages named her as draupadi, draupad was so happy that he got draupadi because of his desire of getting a son , he asked shikhandi to show both draupadi and dhrishtadyumna

Karna returned to his chamber after finishing his works as a king , he was standing infront of the mirror and removing his jewelleries , after removing it he went towards his bed and placed the crown in the table which is near the bed

after removing it he sat on the bed and released a sigh, it was a long tiring day for him

He suddenly remembered what happened with him and subbadhra a few days ago how he looked at subbadhra with love and care he knew he cared for subbadhra as a friend but he didn't know it was only friendship or more than that, he recalled her beautiful face with a beautiful smile her eyes which he got drowned how she was looking innocently at him

He knew he never looked at the woman the way he looked at subbadhra but was it love or only affection

He laid on the bed and closed his eyes to take rest with this thought roaming around his mind .

draupadi is finally here but it will take some time for our hero to meet her

so subbadhra thoughts are disturbing karna ? Hope he realises it soon

so karna birthday is tomorrow so let's do a party 🎉🎉
