Sid: Okk let me complete. We can be friends but only outside class. Even if we are friends, I am your teacher first. And that doesn't change. We are friends doesn't mean you can come anytime you want or I will give you any kind of favours in exams or anything. While your studies, we are student and teacher only. There is no compromise on that. I don't want any of my students to get low grades and that does include you as well

She said smiling widely. She forwarded her hand. He looked at her hand.
Avu: Hmmm
He looked up and she looked at her hand gesturing him to shake hands with her. He hesitated but slowly moved his hand towards her and took her small hand in his larger one. As soon as their hands touched, they felt shivers ran down their spine. They had a small eye contact which was broken by the bell.
Sid: Umm Avneet it's time for lecture. I should go and you also go attend whatever lecture you have
Avu: Wait we are friends and all my friends call me Avu, Avi, Avni. No one calls me Avneet. That's too long. So you can also call me by nickname sir
Sid: Okk sure. I will call you by nickname and you can call me Sid instead of sir. Only when we are not in class

A smile came on her lips hearing her name from his mouth. She never loved her name this much as much as she loved today. She waved her hand smiling and happily went to her class. After lecture, she met Vaishreem.

Avu: Arre mujhe sachme nhi pata tum dono kya bakwas kar rahe ho. Pagal ho gyi ho tum dono. Wait wait tum dono ko kahi ye to nhi lag raha ki mere aur Siddharth sir ke beech mein kuch chal raha hai?
Reem: To isme lagne wali kya baat hai? It's confirmed
Avu rolled her eyes.
Avu: Abe oo. Hum dono sirf dost hai
Vaish: Wowwww kal tak sirf teacher student the. Aaj dost ho gaye
Reem: Hum to sirf tujhe tease kar rahe the
Vaish: Par jo bhi hai pasand wo tereko hai na?
Avu's cheeks got red.
