Chapter 4 - Fight

New York

Teju and Vikram we're in the car leaving the club when Vikram calls someone

Vikaram: DY club VIP room under name of Mr. Daniel. Go and clear everything one mistake and you know the consequences

Someone: Don't worry there would be no mistake

With that, he disconnected the call

They reached the Underground place  where the fight will take place they went through the back door as nobody will notice them and reached their private room

Vikram went to discuss the fight as he is Tejasswi's bodyguard and manager who help her in arranging fights

Teja went in to change her dress l. While coming out she saw Vikram was waiting for her

Vikaram: The fight will start in 15 mins, they are not disclosing the identity of the opponent as per some new rules so we don't know about the weakness of your opponent

Teju: it's okay don't worry

Soon there was the announcement of a fight and the anchor was announcing the names of fighters to call them in the ring

Anchor: "So ladies and gentlemen your wait has come to an end let's call our fighters So today we have Ronald and our very own Shadow hunter"  whole crowd went mad all were cheering for their players mostly for Shadow hunter

Both of them went into the ring (Teju is a Shadow hunter) She went with a mask and hood as she can not reveal her identity she always fights with a mask and hood on

Soon the bell rang indicating the start of the fight

So basic information about these fights

*Though it is an illegal street fight they have a proper referee

* No weapons are allowed

* 3 Taps on the floor and you lose the fight

* Only one round No specific time period

They both circle each other and Ronald was first to throw a punch at her she put her hand forward and shield herself from the punch, and she kicked him on his left knee making him fall to the floor, and punched him hard on his face she wasn't going easy on him, but suddenly he punched her on ribs to loosen her grip on him and soon enough he was going to punch her when she slid under him and was facing his back she kicked him hard on his left knee again, held her leg on his neck tightly stopping his air supply making his face go red soon enough he tap 3 times on floor and referee indicated the end of the fight and raised Teju's hand announcing her the winner

After that, she went into her room to change and saw a big bruise on her rib which was now turning in to blue she change her clothes and left from the back for where Vikram was waiting for her they left the club as Vikram was driving now to her apartment

Vikram: Bet money is been collected

Teju: Good transfer that money to the Women welfare NGO anonymously like always

Vikram: okay and about the injury on your Rib I think it might be broken as I saw the intensity of that punch?

Teju: It's not the first time and it's not broken just bruised it will be fine

With that reached her apartment and she went to freshen up and tend to her bruise by doing all this it was almost 2:30 am she thought to call her sunny as it might be around noon in India

So she dials his number and waited for him to answer

Phone conversation

Karan: Hello

Teju: Sunnyyyyyy, I miss you my little(in her baby voice)

Karan: I miss you too my love, but why are you up at this hour it might be around 2 2:30 in the morning

Teju: Oh I was working on some designs for upcoming events sunny (She lied to him as nobody know about her secret identity)

Karan: Ok Sweety but sleep on the time it's the late baby you need to sleep

Teju: Leave all that why do you sound tense sunny what's the matter?

Karan: Nothing sweety just we were working on this deal with New York's businessman Mr. Daniel but in the morning we came to know somebody murdered him so just that (Though he was tensed about the deal moreover he was worried about that unknown message about her)

Teju: ohh but who murdered him I know he was into the architecture business here in New York

Karan: There is a rumor about some shadow hunter I don't know exactly

Teju: Okay don't worry everything will be alright okay and yeah I called you to let you know I would be landing in Mumbai in the next 3 days for the event

Karan: okay I will let everyone know just don't make a booking for your return now we will do it later

Teju: Okay Sunny, Chalo now I m going to sleep will call you in the morning okay

Karan: Okay sweety, sleep well, dream about me I love you my love

Teju: I love you too my sunny

With that, she disconnect the call and went to sleep after taking a painkiller
