Years had passed since Jimin and Minjeong's marriage, yet they still haven't had sex. The couple had never gone more deeper than making out and that pisses Jimin off. Every time whenever they were almost close to doing it, Minjeong's work just always pops out of nowhere and steals Minjeong's attention away from Jimin.
Minjeong was a doctor, so Jimin knew how much time was gonna be taken away from her. It always breaks Jimin that Minjeong spends more time at the hospital more than their own home, to the point that Jimin doesn't feel like it was their home anymore. Jimin always wanted kids, and Minjeong was well aware of that. Whenever Jimin talks about kids or asks Minjeong if they could have sex, Minjeong would always try to talk to Jimin saying that she promises they'll get to do it when she has time and kisses Jimin's forehead, thinking Jimin would understand. And in fact, Jimin did understand, not until it became a shitty promise that Minjeong would never give to her. Jimin also always thought that, maybe Minjeong wasn't ready for kids, so she never forced her into a big responsibility she wasn't ready of.
"Hi love im home" Minjeong said, welcomed by a hug from Jimin
"You're early today" Jimin said, kissing her lover
"Surprising isn't it? They gave me a day off tomorrow too!" Minjeong said with all giggles and smile
Jimin loved this sight, Minjeong feeling all giddy like a kid, smiling from ear to ear. She adored her wife so much.
"What's wrong?" Minjeong asked, seeing Jimin's dull expressions
"Oh its nothing, just got off work as well, recharging my energy right now" Jimin smiled weakly
"Oh okay, honey" Minjeong simply answered
Jimin was now staring into Minjeong's eyes, wondering if Minjeong was really interested in her, her wife. She wasn't tired because of her work, she was deep down shattered thats why she was like this.
"Oh yeah, a friend of mine told me she saw you at the mall earlier today. You know my friend Kaylee, the pregnant one? She said she saw you looking at baby stuffs at the mall, was it true?" Minjeong asked
"Guess thats me" Jimin laughed in a nervous tone
"Why were you there, honey?" Minjeong asked
"Oh nothing, just thought I could get baby stuffs for Yizhuo and Aeri" Jimin answered, completely lying
"But babe they're not due til the next 7 months" Minjeong said
"I-I like to be advance! You know? Just cant wait to be an auntie right?" Jimin answered in such a pretentious tone and Minjeong wasn't buying it
"Drop the lies, Jimin. Why were you there?" Minjeong asked in a serious tone
"I want kids" Jimin mumbled not quite loud enough to hear
"What?" Minjeong asked
"I! Want! Kids!" Jimin said loudly and clearly
"Aw babe, we will soon" Minjeong said, kissing Jimin's forehead but Jimin just had enough
"You know what? We won't. Im getting old, Minjeong! I wont be able to enjoy motherhood for a long time. If you really refuse to have kids, just tell me. Im so tired of waiting, thinking that our little someone will come very soon, but in fact they never will"
Jimin broke down right infront her wife that was stunned by Jimin's words. She never knew that Jimin was feeling this way already. Minjeong felt guilty for stealing Jimin's dream away of having kids.
