"I just wanted to protect you,
Turn your shadows into light,
Was it the demon or the angel...."

The night started off great.
Jacob picked me up on time.
The whole ride we talked about ourselves mostly, getting to know each other better.
Jacob seemed to have a complicated life, but it all worked out for him in the end.....or so i thought.

We pulled off on a creepy old road.
It was a path, that lead to god knows where.
I felt a hand on my thigh.
I turned my head to see Jacob smiling a me, but he looked worried about something.

"come on, its this way." he said.
We got out the car and walked down the path side by side.
After a few minutes of walking, a beautfiul beach came into view.
It was quiet obvious it was abandoned but still it was beautiful.

Lost in the waves, i felt someones arms around my waist.
Jacobs arms.
I turned to face him.
He was smiling.
I felt my heart beating at 100 miles per hour.
How can someone like him exist.
His smile slowy started to fall.

"whats wrong?"
He looked away for a moment.
Finally turning to me, his expression had changed completly.
He was serious.

"Y/N, i need to tell you something important."

"Okay tell me."

"Before i do i need you to promise me you won't run."

"Jacob wh-"

"Please Y/N promise me."

I sighed. He was kinda freaking me out.

"I promise i won't run."

He took a deep breath and gently grabbed my hands.
He pulled me a little closer to him.

"Y/N the reason i was so rude the other night wasn't because i was having a bad day. It was because of you."

"what?" I was so confused. What was he trying to say?

"I thought i couldn't control myself around you that night so i tried to scare you off, but the truth is, I couldn't stand the thought of being away from you the moment i saw you."

"control yourself from what? Jacob just say it, what are you telling me?"

He paused and looked me in my eyes.

"I'm a vampire."

I think my heart actually stopped for a moment.
Was this guy crazy or something?

I couldn't help but laugh.
"Look Jacob, your funny but i have a job interview in the morning and i'd like to get back to studying for it so if you don't mind taking me home that'd be great."

"You don't have a job interview."

"Yeah i d-"

"I called you here Y/N. I made the job up. Look i promise i'll explain everyth-"
"Y/N?!"

My legs started to feel weak.
My mind was going in circles trying to comperhend what was happening.
What is happening?
Jacob is a vampire....
My head started to spin.

I felt those same two arms in my dream grab me.

"Y/N wake up" Jacobs voice became so distant.
