you were currently in your pajamas sitting on kais bead while he was playing valorant with his friends. it was only 9pm n u were starving since you hadn't eaten all day.
"kaiiii" you said walking over to him
"lilyyy" he said mocking you
"im starving can we go get ramen or something" you said giving him the puppy eyes
"fine, put on some shorts tho you cant walk around with your but cheeks hanging around"
you rolled your eyes at him and climbed out of his window and into yours. you and kai's mom were best friends since high school they did everything together which meant that they were also neighbors. your room and kais room was around 1 meter apart if you climbed out the windows. its fun to have your best friend live right next to you, you can annoy him anytime you want.
you through on a pair of biker shorts and since it was pretty cold today you went back to kais room and grabbed one of his hoodies he had laying around putting it on top of the tube top.
"no take that off your not allowed to get my hoodies" he said directly looking at you
"stop being such a bitch ill give it back"
"like the other 30 hoodies you have"
"shut up lets go"
the both of you went downstairs and saw your mothers having there normal girl shit talking of the day.
"where you guys going" mariah, kais mom asked
"were going to get ramen" kai said
"at this hour?" your mom ava questioned
"ava, let them be its just a bowl of ramen" mariah said
"were gonna go now bye, love you" you said heading towards the door
"love you" kai said and went with you

he hopped on his motorbike and handed me his helmet i put the helmet on and bent down for him to buckle it for me
"you need to learm how to buckle it lily"
"shut up i cant see the buckle" i roled my eyes before sliding on the motorbike and put my arms around his waist.

"a table for 2 please" kai said as we walked into the ramen shop, the girl was around our age she had the basic blue eye blonde hair combo and woudnt stop staring at kai. it did piss me off at first but it happened all the time. she lead us to a table and got our orders, but before she left she turned back
"hey, are you single?" she turned around and asked
kai looked over at me and smiled
"no, sorry she's my girlfriend" he pointed at me
"oh sorry i didnt realise you guys are a cute couple"
"thanks" kai said before she left
i kicked him under the table
"why would you do that, she was cute and you havnt hooked up in a while"
"i dont hook up with everybody i see lily, and i like someone right now"
"you like someone??, ive never heard of that kai" i said "who is she"
"why are you so curious about who i like, you never tell me yours"
"number one your my best friend and for you to like someone is practically impossible so whoever the girl is shes hella lucky. number two i dont like anyone i just fuck them, like you"
"im still not gonna tell you who i like, and its not like everytime you fuck a dude you dont catch feelings for him"
"oh please i fucked david and i didnt like him"
"ye because he has a tiny dick" kai said
"how do you know that" i questioned
"because you tell me about your whole experience after fucking the dude, i know your whole sex life lily"
"i know yours too, and i know that you havnt had sex in 3 months"
"thats because i like someone, im not going to fuck every girl in the school" by this time the ramen bowls were already done
"fine whatever im not gonna push you" i said rolling my eyes
"dont roll your eyes" he scoffed before putting some cash on the table
"come on lets go" he said grabbing my hand
we walked pass his motorbike and just continued down the road, he was still holding my hand his hands were soft and gentle, he always acted tough everywhere we go but i know that he can be very vulnerable as cringey as that sounds. when we were around 5 we 'dated' it was just something we did as kids but we had decided to 'break up' because we thought being best friends was better. i wish we never broke up there are time where i want to be just more then friends and it has been occuring more often this month. but i dont want to ever ruin this relationship.
"you good lily, stop spacing out" he said lighting up a cigar and sitting on the side walk
"yeah just thinking about something" i sat next yo him and took a puff after him
"hey do you remember when we dated when we were like 5" i asked
kais pov
"yeah it was pretty cute" i wish we were still dating, i know that it was just a silly relationship for fun but throughout this year ive started to catch feelings for her shes everything i want in a girl. theres not a single bad thing about her, i can tell her my whole life story and she would still be intrigued.
"do you ever wonder what would happen if wed still be dating" she asked passing me the cigarette
"i think you'd be deeply in love with me and i would too" i looked at her, for a second it looked like she was blushing but we both bursted into laughter. i love her laugh.
"come on idiot we gotta get home" she was still on the side walk laughing her ass off
"no not yet" she said in between laughs
i bent down and picked her up bridal style carrying her back to the motorbike, she had calm down and lay there staring up at my face. she poked my lip and gave it a small rub
"you have really soft lips you know"
"i know i do" i bent down to her tummy and started blowing raspberries on her she started laughing again
"stop stop im ticklish" she continues to laugh before i place her on the motorbike
i grab her helmet and put it on her head and secure it before putting mine on. i pulled out of the parking lot and started to drive, everytime we use my motorbike i alwyas love it when she has her arms around my waist. the amount of time shes been on here yet she still holds onto me for dear life is adorable. i look through the rearview mirror and i can tell she's asleep. when i pull up to the house i park the bike before removing her helmet, i picked her up like before and carried her in the house.
"shes asleep?" my mom asked as i went in the house
"yeah she fell asleep on the way back"
"your such a good friend" ava said
"goodnight mom, goodnight ava love you" i said walking up the stairs. i placed her gently on my bed and went to brush my teeth, after i finished i went inot bed with her and fell asleep.
