THE DRAGON AND THE WOLF

Chapter 1

In the dark abyss you could see a soul drifting content and at peace within the overwhelming silence. The soul thought of its past life how in his family he was the only disappointing one among a family of accomplished members. His father who used to walk from home to school a distance of 10 km every morning to emerge first in his exams getting a scholarship to study his preferred course then going farther to establish himself in the business world. His siblings who inherited the smarts took off to start their own business a profit later on.

Looking back at those thoughts of depression engulfed him sooner leaving this world a s he had given up rather than living in constant scrutiny and disappointment decided to; leave this world. Now he here he is contemplating his life decisions and why he was born ordinary.

Suddenly a voice boomed in the abyss," Oh my child, this life was not a complicated one at all, had you persevered you would have been something great."

The soul searched for the source of the voice, after contemplating it decided to respond to it. "The scrutiny of your voice filled with disappointment makes me loathe you. I have heard of it all my life at every corner and stage in my life and from henceforth I do not give a hoot about it. It is better if you leave me to be content in my eternal peace."

A sigh could be heard in the dark abyss before the voice continued on, "My child. am sorry but you cannot be here, like all other souls before you and those that will come after you, you must move on and build a life elsewhere." The soul paused and then voiced his opinion Well then get on with it mate.

"I hope you enjoy the life am going to send you too. The universe am sending you off to is a fictional one. You know of it very well. It is the Game of Thrones and do not fret am sending you off with 5 wishes I hope you can use them and live a happy life. Now please make a wise decision." PIt spoke.

"Before making my decision can I make a few inquiries"the soul asked as to make a wise choice depending on them.
"I know what you want to ask young one , and the answer is no you cannot choose when, where or whom you are born to. This means that anything is possible." He spoke.

After hearing what the voice said he started to think of wishes that could help him live a good life and less likely to kill him easily. Thinking on it he knew he had to know how to at least fight, as he remembered the how the series played out. So the first wish would have to be inclined to a martial prowess. With his first wish covered he knew he had to have a way to have wealth as he's not sure if he will be born a commoner or not hence compulsion would do.

He then looked at the magical aspect as he might need to have magical attributes. That would appeal to dragons so as to tame them. Deciding then to wish for 4 dragons of his own, two being of the fire attribute and two of the ice attributes that would be loyal to him. The fourth wish was then a pocket world where he could build an army, infrastructure or empire so as to prevent growing suspicions when he was still weak and while opting for that he needed a system to keep track of his purchases, people, his level and attributes and so on.
