The last class felt like eternity for Bonnie, she just sat there and looked out the window the whole time, anxiously waiting for after school.

She knew she'd be fine but after hearing that people call him Eddie the freak Munson then it's always going to put thoughts in her mind. I mean she also has no idea what he looks like.

The last bell rang and Bonnie's first day of school was done, she headed out of the classroom and towards her locker. She saw Heather leave and waved goodbye with a smile.

She opened her locker and popped her books inside her bag and started heading towards the back of the school, trying to remember Dustin's directions from earlier.

People were walking all over the place, some on bikes, some on skateboards. Bon made it the track and walked across, she didn't realise how lonely it was out there until she was in the middle of the oval, she could hear the buzzing from everyone talking from the front of school but the back of it was completely empty.

She spotted the path that Dustin was talking about as she entered the woods, it went along for about 10 metres and then was washed up from the rain so she just followed in a straight direction and hoped she'd find the table.

Thankfully it was still light out as she walked through the woods, the leaves crunching with each step she took and the buzzing sound of students from the school slowly fading away until all she could hear was wind hurling between the trees,

She spotted the bench and she headed towards it, she remembered that Dustin said Eddie would be waiting for her at the table so it was weird that he wasn't here.

Bonnie placed her bag down on table and took a seat, 10 minutes go by and still no sign of Eddie the freak, bon decides that she must of just got stood up and goes to grab her bag before she hears a rustle in the bushes, she quickly stands up sand turns around, and then she heard something from the other direction, she turns to it quickly, but all she could see was trees among trees,

she slowly starts backing away from the rustling sound in the bushes before she bumped into someone and fell to the ground

"Whoa, hey, hey, hey." She heard as she turned around quickly, a bit spooked out by what could of been in the bushes,

"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you" he said with a chuckle as the boy looked at her rather closely before lending a hand to help her up,

He was tall and had this almighty dark curly hair that just went past his shoulders, he had dark brown eyes and was wearing a denim jacket and white top with something written on it, she couldn't quite figure out what it said yet.

"You okay?" He changed his expression as he asked the girl standing before him,

"I um thought- no yeah I'm fine" Bon scrambles to find words as she looked back at the bushes behind her, her breathing was heavy,

"I was told that this guy that apparently gets called Eddie the freak Munson would be waiting for me at this table, he was hopefully going to sell me some stuff but I think I got stood up, what a prick, on my first day really?" Bon scrambles once more as she dusts herself off but then realising she's talking a bit too much,

"Eddie the freak Munson... really? Sounds like a right old twat" he says like he was trying to hold back a grin, and twirling the end of his hair with his finger,

"Yeah exactly, my bad that I bumped into you, I'm Bonnie" she says picking out bits of leaves out of her hair and walks over towards the bench to grab her bag,

"So your the new girl everyone's been telling me so much about" he says following Bonnie over to the table,

Bon shared a confused face, not quite understanding why she'd even be brought up into a conversation on her first day, she didn't even get into a fight or anything.

She turned around and looked at the boy,
"Telling you so much about? I'm confused..." she paused so she could think,

"...I don't even know your name" Bon says with furrowed eyebrows as she leaned on the bench before she eventually sat down,

"Oh the names Eddie, Eddie the freak Munson actually" he said holding back a grin that couldn't help but get bigger with anticipation as he sat down opposite her, he placed his hand out to shake,

Bonnie's heart sank, she covered her face with her hands as she sat there opposite the boy that she just practically insulted,

"Shit" She spoke under her breath, holding her hand on her head, trying to cover her face from the embarrassment, she took a deep breath and removed her hand and looked at him,

He was still staring at her, with a wide and cheeky grin, clearly enjoying what's just happened,

Bon placed her hand on his and quickly shook his hand,

"I'm sorry, I guess I just got caught up with everything, dustin said you'd be waiting here, thought I got stood up, thought there was someone or something in the bushes and then bumping into you, I um... yeah" she smiled after she blabbered on, taking a deep breath in,

Eddie turned around when she said she thought there was something in the bushes, he then turned back to her

"look there's nothing to worry about okay? No one ever comes out here, we're safe" he says which surprisingly calms Bon down a bit, it was an unusual feeling for her to get that reassurance,

He places his metal tin box on the table,
"I promise"

I know this isn't a lot but now there will be so much Eddie content! It's going along the storyline of stranger things of course but there will be little twists and turns that I make up myself and add into the story! I'm so excited and I hope you are too!
