*Author's Note: This is my first apology song. I was inspired by 'Back to December' and 'Afterglow' by Taylor Swift, and 'The Ones I Love' by Olivia Rodrigo. I had gone to this formal event with this guy as friends but I ended up going off with the guy I actually liked towards the end and sort of just ditched the guy I came with... He seemed really chill at the time so I didn't think anything of it, but then he called me up a while later and told me that it really hurt him. I felt so ashamed of myself for doing that to such a wonderful guy who's always been there for me when I needed him. I feel like a terrible person and I think I'll forever feel guilty about it. 😞 I wrote this song as an outlet for all the stirring emotions that were swirling inside of me.
