My phone buzzed. I sigh while reaching for it. I turn on my phone and squint my eyes because I had just woken up from sleeping.

My phone clock read. I check Instagram from a while, looking through my friends photos seeing how their getting on. It looks like their having fun lol.

Fuck me like. That guy in the front he's good looking. Awk oh well I'll never meet him anyway. I turn off my phone and climb out of bed and slip on my slippers. "Alexa play Spotify." I call out in the hallway.
"Playing Spotify." Cherry bomb starts playing. I've always had amazing music taste, in fact music was a comfort to me. Whenever my parents would argue I'd put on my headphones and put the volume to one hundred to block out their screaming and whatever else they would do to each other. I walk down to the kitchen when I slip on.. A piece of paper? Wait no it's an envelope. Wait ITS AN ENVELOPE? God please PLEASE be my acceptance letter . I've applied to a number of university's to study law. I turn over the envelope and open it slowly, praying its an acceptance letter. I begin to read it.

We are asking you to report back to top gun in three days. We will explain why when you arrive there, do not be late

I've been invited back to fucking top gun? I graduated from there years ago, why would I need to go back there? I mean who would they even get to teach me? I'm one of the best of the best. I sigh. I'm going to have to find a place to stay there now aren't I? Wait never mind I have a holiday home there. I'll just go there now I guess. I mean I might as well I can just go about the city for the day. Yeah that sounds like a plan then. I walk back upstairs and take a shower so I don't stink up the whole ass town on my first day being there. I throw my belongings I will need into a suitcase. I run down stairs and feed my cat, Zeus, before putting him in his travel thingy. I grab my keys and wallet and leave the house. Oh shit... I just remembered something if phoenix is a top gun graduate too then she might've been called back too and that guy in the photo if he is a graduate too then.. fuck me he's probably going to be there too. I'm scared now. What if I panic and say something stupid? Ahhhh shit. I may as well just stop thinking about it and actual start going there. I load my stuff into the boot and place Zeus' crate in the back seat. I connect Spotify to the car and start driving.

I smile at my phone before placing it in my back pocket to unpack my bags. Wait.. Oh shit I forgot breakfast and I have no food here either. Well I guess this calls for a trip to the shops. I place Zeus' bed in my bedroom and lay him in it as he had fallen asleep on the sofa and close the door. I jump in my car and connect it to Spotify, skipping through a few songs before I wanna be yours starts playing. This car is fucking roasting, how do people cope with this heat? I roll down the windows and start driving singing along to the song while doing so. Finally I pulled up to the shops. I grab my sun glasses and my phone before rolling up the windows and getting out of the car and locking it. I walk towards the rotating doors and grab a basket. I scan along the shelves minding my own business, tossing things into my basket. Ooooo they have strawberry milk powder I'll throw that in. I continue my way down the isle till I turn the corner and bump into a tall guy.. Wait a minute why does he look fami-

Anyways I continue down the isles but I can't get the image of him smiling out of my mind holy fuck he's hot. I go to ring my items up so I can leave and save myself from any more embarrassment incase I see him again. Finally I get out of there get back into my car and take my sunglasses off and roll down the windows and once again play Spotify and I choose an song this time I pick great balls of fire and start singing along. My heart starts racing once I see him walk out of the god damn store. I just stop singing and lower the radio while driving away praying to every god I know that he didn't see me.
I get back to the house and make myself some food before heading out to town hoping to forget the embarrassment of bumping into a hot guy then freezing when he smiled. I decided to head down to the book store first. I don't know why I am going there I don't think I've ever finished a book I bought but maybe this time a will. I walk into the book store and absolutely nothing when I hear a familiar voice from behind me.
"Y/n?!"
"Phoenix?!"
"Omg its so good too see you!"
"It's great to see you too!"
"If you don't mind me asking why are you back in the city?"
"Top gun asked for me back."
"Huh funny they asked me and some friends back too."
"Weird."
"I'll see you later then haha."

Well that wasn't awkward at all. But it may have just confirmed my theory that that guy might have been called back to top gun as well!
