"Thank you for letting my friend watch." Asahi thanked Coach Ukai and Mr. Takeda by bowing down in front of the older men.

The man with glasses stifled a giggle as he asked his student, "So who is this friend you invited to watch us practice?"

"It's a third year girl." The ace answered without even thinking, "She kind of invited herself so I had no say in it! I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

"And?" Coach Ukai continued, throwing his arm around the younger boy's shoulders and repeatedly suggestively raising his eyebrows. "Is that all? You're not even going to tell us her name?"

As the other members of the team were getting ready to start their training, they voluntarily eavesdropped and soon started teasing their teammate as well, "Don't tell me it's that weird girl Asahi." Daichi started.

"You don't even know her name?" Nishinoya and Tanaka exclaimed loudly for the world to hear. That was right, Asahi didn't know her name. And come to think of it, she didn't know his name either. How was that even possible? To spend almost an entire day with someone and not think once of exchanging names... It was weird.

"She's here guys!" Hinata's screechy voice pulled everyone's attention towards the doorway, where the subject of their conversation was standing. She was barely standing, more like balancing herself on one foot as she tried to pull her sneakers off, but failed miserably and face-planted into the gym's wooden floor.

The gym was silent as they watched the mysterious and apparently clumsy girl peel her face off of the floor. "Y/N?" Coach Ukai roared, "What the fuck are you doing here?" Then turning around he directed his anger at his students, "Wait, she's the weird girl you were talking about?"

"Even coach Ukai knows your mysterious girlfriend's name." Tsukishima, the tallest member, remarked snarkily as the girl's eyes widened in shock, "Keishin?" She exclaimed as she hurriedly stood back up.

With a deep sigh, Coach Ukai calmed himself down as he muttered under his breath, but Asahi heard it nonetheless. "Well, I guess I had to see this coming. I mean who else invites herself to a training session to ogle a muscular teenager?"

"Who's Keishin? How do you guys know each other?" Nishinoya asked stupidly as he kept pointing between the oddly similar-looking pair who knew each other's first names.

"She's my baby sister." Their coach grumbled as he stomped towards Y/N. "We have to talk, NOW!" He pulled her out of the doorway she had recently walked through. "I'm so telling grandpa that you crashed our training!" Meanwhile, Asahi was standing like a statue. He couldn't move. What the hell was happening? Before he could register what was going on, Coach Ukai popped his head back in and pointed right at him. "And you!" He barked, "I'll talk with you after training. For now, start with 5 laps of diving drills! All of you!"

"Whaaaat?" The group of rowdy boys groaned but followed their coach's orders anyway. "Why do we have to suffer because of Asahi's fuck ups?" Tanaka muttered as he readied himself for a diving drill.

Daichi who was overseeing his team's activities while the coach was outside, slapped the ace's back excruciatingly hard and commented, "From all the girls you could've chosen, you chose coach Ukai's sister?"

"Wait! This means that she's old coach Ukai's granddaughter!" Their silver-haired friend, also known as the official setter of the team, also known as Suga, informed everyone as an uproar of chaotic noises arose from the group.

The boys kept teasing Asahi throughout training. They took great pleasure in mumbling snide remarks just before he was about to hit a spike, which guaranteed the number 3's failure. Whatever he did, he couldn't concentrate. He felt multiple sets of eyes burning his back and he was still not used to the vulgar things the two second years kept saying. "Just think about it Asahi, your children would be tall, weird, and amazing in volleyball!" Was Nishinoya's last words when the gentle-spoken giant snapped.
