Daniel's POV 🍯

I picked up Rebekah from the hotel and headed out to eat. She looked stunning but I mean when doesn't she. We got to the restaurant and they were about to seat us when i heard Rebekah,
Rebekah: "Looks like we have a tail"
I looked back and noticed a couple of paparazzis snapping pictures of us.
Daniel: "Excuse me do you think we can get a table in the back patio instead I would just prefer a beach view and less paparazzi if it's possible please"
Waitress: "Of course Mr.Ricciardo, follow me"
I looked at Rebekah and gave her a little wink with a smile, she smiled right back at me. I mean I honestly didn't really mind the paparazzi snapping pictures of us it's not like I want to hide that I'm hanging out with Rebekah but I just know they can sometimes get annoying when you're just trying to have brunch with someone and if Rebekah didn't exactly want them there then we could just sit somewhere else. They took us to the back and gave us the table with an incredible beach view. I pulled out Rebekah's chair and made my way to the chair across from her.
Rebekah: "Wow this view is actually really incredible Daniel, thank you for making it happen"
Daniel: "Of course, you know I had to get you the best view for your last day at Monaco"
Rebekah: "Yes I know but also thanks to the paparazzi because if it wasn't for them we would've been stuck up at the front"
We both laughed and then the waiter came up to out table we ordered a round of mimosas and some food.
Rebekah: "Okay these mimosas are actually pretty incredible"
Daniel: "I told you they were great and wait till you try the french toast here it's also amazing"
Rebekah: "You're really spoiling me right now Daniel, and I'll allow it because it's food!"
We laughed and she looked at me and smiled. Then her phone vibrated which caused her to break the eye contact and look down at her phone.
Rebekah: "Oh that's weird"
Daniel: "What is?"
Rebekah: "Lando just texted me"
Daniel: "Lando? as in my teammate Lando Norris?"
Rebekah: "Yes obviously that Lando what other Lando do I know"
Daniel: "That's true, so what does he want?"
Rebekah: "He just asked me if I wanted to hangout today before I left because he wants to see me"
Daniel: "Lando wants to see you?"
Rebekah: "Oh don't be so surprised now cmon a girls got many admirers" She said it in her jokingly sarcastic tone.
Daniel: "Oh right right" I said as I tried to play off the bit of jealousy with a laugh.
Rebekah: "It's just I have about 3 hours to kill before I have to get back to the hotel and finish packing and he wants to see me soon"
Daniel: "Well do you want to go now?"
Rebekah: "I mean I wouldn't want to bail on you either"
Daniel: "No no it's completely okay don't even worry about me I'll probably see you
again before he does anyway"
Rebekah: "That's probably true but you sure it's okay?"
Daniel: "Yes yes it's completely okay just go on now and have fun, enjoy your last day in Monaco"
Rebekah: "Ugh thanks Daniel I really appreciate it all! Okay he'll be here any minute now I'll start heading to the front" She got up from her seat and came to give me a hug. I hugged her pretty tight and just wished it wouldn't end but unfortunately it had to.
Daniel: "Don't even worry, I'll see you soon Rebekah have a safe trip"
And then she just walked off I looked right at her and smiled to myself. I was sad things had to end pretty quickly but I just hopped that I would see her again soon.
