Muichiro and Nezuko had a date... How did Tanjiro not know of any of this? Who gave Muichiro permission to date his baby sister? Tanjiro had to see what was happening...

"But Genya... let me go... I have to know..."

It wasn't particularly weird for Tanjiro to see Genya stopping one of his friends by the shirt every time Zenitsu had a crazy idea or wanted to do something Genya wasn't completely sure it was a good idea. However, both Muichiro's twin brother Yuichiro and him decided to see what was the ruckus this time around.

"Zenitsu... I told you already..."

"Hey, Genya? What in the world Zenitsu wants now that you're stopping him like that?"

Both Genya and Zenitsu went completely still at hearing Tanjiro's voice, turning around to see the seniors getting close to them. Genya looked at Zenitsu with a warning in his eyes.

"No, Zenitsu... don't do it"

"Tanjiro!" Zenitsu's voice went so high that only dogs would probably be able to hear him "Nezuko-chan!"

Tanjiro could see Genya face-palming in the background, but Yuichiro kept pestering the older boy"What happened now with Nezuko , Zenitsu?"

As a general rule, Zenitsu was almost confidently afraid of Yuichiro– he said it was respect, but he couldn't fool Tanjiro with that – so his voice returned to his normal tone and he whispered to the  two "Really, it's Muichiro, not Nezuko-chan"

"My brother?" Zenitsu kept with his act of sobbing in front of the him while Genya was still mortified behind him "Let's see: first it was Nezuko and now Muichiro ... What's actually going on?"

"It's that... Muichiro and Nezuko-chan.... Are on a DATEEEEEE"

Zenitsu's crying was so exaggerated that everyone looked around to see if anyone was looking at them . Tanjiro could see Genya looking powerfully at Zenitsu to see how everything would end... but it was in that moment that Tanjiro registered what the other had said...

"That Muichiro and Nezuko WHAT?!!"

"They're on a date, Tanjiro! As soon as school finished, Inosuke asked if we could go to get something to snack and Nezuko-chan said they couldn't go with us because they had a date!" Zenitsu sobbed a little "That's so not fair"

"My brother asked Nezuko out on a date?" Yuichiro whispered while looking at the ground. He was processing the information, Tanjiro imagined.

"Who authorized Muichiro to invite my little sister out on a date?"

"Right, Tanjiro! Muichiro went over everyone to invite Nezuko-chan to do who knows what in who knows where exactly"

"It was not like that at all, Zenitsu" murmured Genya, getting closed to the little group again.

"What are you saying, Genya?" Tanjiro asked, making calculations in his mind and thinking about how he could figure out where was his little sister with... That one.

"Muichiro-kun only asked Nezuko-chan if she wanted to go get some ice-cream after class while we were in Geography class. Nezuko-chan had already said yes to him, way before Inosuke-chan came up with the idea..."

"IT'S A DATE, GENYA-CHAN!" Zenitsu shook Genya by the shoulders a little bit.

Both Yuichiro and Tanjiro went silent after that. They were thinking about different things related to the same topic. Yuichiro was thinking about Muichiro and if this was really a date with Nezuko– which wasn't actually a crazy idea if he took what his brother told him before into perspective – and if it was like that, why Muichiro didn't tell him anything. Was Muichiro loosing the trust in him?
