It Can't Be

The decepticons and autobots are having a fight as optimus avoid the attack as he turn his arm into his blade as he attack at one of the cons he look as his team are now winning optimus was about to help his team until in the corner of his optics saw something he look a the direction as he needs to see what it is but he need to help the team but his curiosity got him as he sigh he turn his blade back into his arm as he run at the direction while his team start to win

As he went to the thing he didn't know what it is since it got burried by some cement and dirt he then get down to remove the cement and dirt as he pull it out what it is and his optics widen

'a escape pod? Probably some mech or a femme escape wait no it's small for a cybertron to fit inside....wait a minute'

He thought as he then try to open the escape pod getting worried as he might know what inside of it when the pod opened it revealed a small sparkling with yellow and black and he's seems to be on stasis

Optimus's optics widen as he can't believe what his seeing

"it can't be....a sparkling...?"

He said with disbelief as he quickly snap out of his shock and gently get the sparkling out of the pod and carry him on his metal arms still can't believe what he have

"but.....i thought all of the sparklings got offline long ago.....i guess you somehow survive huh little one...."

He said as he put his digit on the sparkling's helm gently as he heard the decepticons retreated as he look back and saw them retreat he look at the sparkling in his metal arms as he keep him close

"i need rachet to check if his ok.....i just hope his fine"

He said as he went back on his team that help eachother theu then saw optimus walk to them

"hey optimus! Where we're you?"

"yea where did you go?"

Optimus just stare at them as he look at the sparkling as they look confused as optimus turn his communicator on

"old friend open the portal bridge now it's urgent"

"sure, did one of you got injured?"

"no, just open it now"

They are still confused as a portal appeard as optimus walk in first and they look at eachother and follow optimus behind

When they arrive rachet close the portal as optimus went to rachet

"so what do you need me? Did you got injured? Let me-"

"no I'm fine i am not injured but i need to tell you if his ok"

Rachet blink in confusion same with the others that still don't get it as they went to them then optimus show the sparkling as rachet look and the other autobots look at the sparkling they are quite and blinking for a moment until they realized what their looking at

"A SPARKLING?!"

It's been 2 hours since they have found out the sparkling as optimus is waiting patiently for the sparkling as the others are still confused

"how did a sparkling got here?!"

"how did it even survived i thought all sparkling got shot down!"

"maybe it somehow manage to survive"

"arcee is right i have found the sparkling in a escape pod that also means his the last sparkling of cybertron but i don't know if his healthy that's why i want rachet to see if his fine....."

Optimus said with a worried came in his voice as the others also are worried for the sparkling and don't know what to do since they have never taken care of a sparkling before then rachet came as they all look at him

"i have scan him and he didn't have any injuries or anything bad in his system but his too small for a normal sparkling which is unbelievable i don't know if he can survive and his very fragile we need to be careful with him"

"i see....how is he now?"

"his just in his stasis he'll wake up sooner or later it seems like he just got spark he needs a sire or a carrier for the sparkbond or he'll never survive"

The others look worried and they all don't know how to take care of the sparkling

"what about arcee? She's a femme"

"excuse me? Even tho I'm a femme i never have a sparkling before and i don't know what to do!"

"maybe i can-"

"no bulkhead you can't take care the sparkling-"

"i will do it....."

They look and saw optimus standing up

"I'll do it...."

"are you sure optimus...?"

"yes i am.....and i can take care of him"

".....ok then but having a sparkling is very very serious optimus but i know you can take a good care of him"

Rachet said as optimus look at rachet and nod meanwhile the sparkling then start to wake up as he began open his optics he then rub his optics as he look around and saw a different place as he look worried and scared as he began chirping he doesn't know how to talk yet as he look around for his sire and carrier he then start to tear up and start to cry

As he cry he heard many footsteps as he keep crying then suddenly he got carried by a strong yet gentle arms as he chirp sadly and look and saw optimus rocking him optimus is worried that he might not able to take care of him but he needs to because this sparkling needs a sire and he will be his sire

Then he saw his big blue optics starring at him with small tears running down his small faceplate as the sparkling then lay his head on his chestplate and that's when optimus froze as he felt something he didn't recognize but seeing the sparkling laying his head on his chestplate form a small smile in his face plate as they sparkling whine and still crying silently as optimus look worried

"here optimus he must be hungry"

He look and saw a energon in a bottle holding by rachet as optimus look at him and nod he take the energon as he try to feed the sparkling the sparkling look and saw the energon as he then hold it with his small little arms and began sucking it as optimus smile again watching the sparkling drinking as the sparkling start to go on recharge as he look at optimus and close his optics going on a recharge glad to see his sire
