Today is my 17th birthday and I woke up to the smell of...smoke?
I ran downstairs hoping my house isn't gonna burn down
"Mom what did you burn?" I asked out of breath
"Sorry hun. I was gonna wake you up with french toast, but um, yeah" I laughed at my mom and gave her a huge hug
"Happy birthday, sweetie" she smiled
"Thanks ma. Where's grandpa" she rolled her eyes
"Outside getting your present ready" I squealed
"Can I go see it?" she laughed
"Yeah come on"
We walked out side and I gasped
"Had to fix the old girl up for my favorite granddaughter" he smiled backing away from the truck

I literally tackled my mom and Grandpa down to the grown
"Thank you, thank you, thank you sooooooooo much" I said still overjoyed
"Why don't you go ahead and take a spin down to Cake eater village and show Banks" my grandpa said
"Hans" my dad said walking out the house
"What'd I say" he winked

I knocked on the door to the Banks house and of course Adam opened the door and once he saw me hugged me super tight
"Happy birthday pretty girl" I laughed at the nickname
"Thanks Banksie. Wanna see my new ride" he nodded his head
"Tada" I did jaze hands once coming over to my truck
"Well she's definitely an antique" Adam joked
"Shut up" he walked over and kissed me
"Drive me around" I smiled and hopped into the drivers seat while he hopped in on the passenger side
I cranked her...which didn't work...instead it made a weird noise
I popped the hood and smoke was all I could see
"The hell" Adam said walked over
"You could say that again" he chuckled
"I'll call Hans" I nodded "He wants to talk to you"
Hans: What happened Me: It won't crank and now smoke is all that's coming from this truck Hans: Hmmm i'll see what I can do...Uh happy birthday Me: Not the time grandpa
