Nandini's pov
I woke up when my phone rang well the stupid alarm rang and I snoozed it, but the stupid thing rang again and again and again making me get up.
I turned it off and sat up, I looked beside me but I didnt find manik there, instead there was a note there with a chocolate on top of it
'Hey cutie, I have practice so I will see you straight at college, navya will come with you and have some breakfast before leaving, i'll see you later, from your mysterious eyes'
It is such a cute note, I kissed the note and placed it in between my phone and phone case. I showered and lets just say his bathroom is huge, its the size of a freaking bedroom. I grabbed my bag and walked downstairs to see navya eating.
"Come sit sweetie, lets eat" she said as soon as she saw me
"Morning navya"
"Morning nandu, how are you"
"Sleepy yar why is Monday always here ahh" I said eating
"Same yar chad na bunk martai hai"
"No navya, also we have our performance coming up too right so come on lets go" I said gulping down some juice
We walked to college becasue I really wanted to walk since it was windy and cloudy. We talked all the way there, I didnt see manik the hole day but he was constantly texting me asking if I ate or where I am
I honestly felt happy seeing his care, even though he was busy he made sure he was texting me every few hours. It was lunch time for us so we had some food and then attended the rest of the classes
"Nandini wait here then we can go home" navya said
"Do you have work" I asked
"Ya actually I need to talk to pandit ji about the feedback" she said
"Its okay take your time ill walk back home okay, I know you have to meet a friend as well" I said
"Its okay ill cancel on her"
"No navu its okay, ill text you as soon as im home promise, dont cancel plans for me please" I said and she was very hesitant
"But nandini"
"Navya yar chill kar mako kuch ni hoga" I said kissing her cheek
"Okay be safe" she said kissing my head
I walked towards home listening to random music, and talking to myself when my phone rang making me stop to take it out of my bag
"Hello" I said without looking at it
"Sit in the car you see on your left" it was my uncle's voice frekaing me out shitttt
I putt he call and realized its a bust place so he wont do anything but I needed manik. I quickly dialled Manik's number and he didnt pick up but I was starting to get a panic attack. I called again and he picked up on the last ring
"Baby im in recording right now, are you okay" he asked
"Manik I" I stammered to even get the words out
"Where are you" he asked
"I was walking home but I"
"Dont you dare move" he said staying on the call
I could see the car door opening and I felt tears dropping on my cheeks, he is going to take me, no no no, I saw Rahul and my uncle standing there with a smirk
"Get in the car" Rahul said as he approached me
"No"
"Nandini get in the car right now or im dragging you and I wont care what anyone sees or says" he said gripping my arm
"I suggest you let go" I heard manik's voice making me run to him
He wrapped his arms around my waist, I grabbed onto his shirt, shoving my face in his chest.
"Relax im Right here, its okay" he said in my ear
"Manik"
"I know, im sorry I was recoding, why isnt navya with you"
"She wanted to ask the teacher about something and she had plans I didnt want her to cancel them for me" I said sobbing
"Its okay dont cry"
"Whoever you are leave my niece alone and get out of here" uncle said
"Shh baby stop crying" he mumbled kissing my head
"Leave her" Rahul said yanking on manik's arm making me come out of his grip but manik pulled me back
"Nandini baby stop crying, you trust me right" he said wiping my tears
"I trust you" I mummbled and he smiled kissing my nose
"Is this your uncle" he asked and I nodded
"Sir with all due respect you cannot come here and tell me to get out or leave her alone, In face I think you should go becasue she clearly doesnt want you around" manik said holing me close
"Listen, I dont wanna make a scene in public so leave my fiancé alone and you nandini lets go" Rahul said holding my arm
"Let go of her arm" manik said
"Dont tell me how to behave with my fiancé" he yelled
"HANDS OFF HER NOW OR I WONT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS NEXT" manik yelled back
"Nandini lets go or" Rahul said
"Or nothing, hands off her NOW" manik said and picked me up
He carried me to his car, which I dont know why he drives here is 10 minutes away but whatever. He got in the drivers seat and put on my seatbelt for me, he drove us home and as soon as I stepped down he carried me upstairs and put me on the bed
"Manik im sorry" I siad
"For what"
"For disturbing you, I jut didnt know what to do" I said and he sighed sitting next to me
"The recording isnt as important nandini, you mean everything to me and im glad you called. I clearly warned navya not to leave you alone but she still did"
"No I kind of forced her to" I admitted and the door bell rang making manik get up
"No no no don't go please its them" I said grabbing onto his arm
"Baby calm down" he said stroking my hair
"No he will take me"
"He will not, come with me okay" he said and I nodded
He picked me up walking downstairs with the constant banging on the door, I was freaked out which I'm sure he could tell because he kept kissing my head as he took me downstairs. He placed me on the couch and went to open the door. there they were and both of them looked pissed off. He let them in and came to sit beside me.
Feeling him close I shoved my face in his chest wanting to forget that this was happening, this is all a dream right yes if I close my eyes for long enough then it'll be fine, ill wake up and this will all be over.
