𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐏𝐄𝐃 through Eviane's vision as she shut the door close, shivering as the slightest breeze seeped through her arms. Even with the presence of nightfall, the absence of light was not missed as the shining moon greeted us from above. The endless twinkles of the stars strayed across the sky, blinding Eviane who tiptoed towards the edge of the pool.
Sitting on the dry surface, Eviane pulled her flared pants slightly up as she removed her flip-flops, allowing her feet to dangle in the cool pool water. Even though the intoxicating smell from the smokey puffs that left Conrad's mouth bothered Eviane, she silently sat beside him, allowing the warmth from him to radiate.
