Chapter 33: Sasuke Uchiha Is Dead

*One Hour Later*

"I want to thank you all to those who participated in the Chuin Exams this year, I also want to say good luck to those that made it to the finals" Sarutobi stated with a smile. "You all have one month to get ready for your matches, the matches for this are as followed. Match 1: Naruto Uzumaki Vs Naruko Uzumaki. Match 2: Neji Hyuga Vs Sasuke Uchiha. Match 3: Kankuro Vs Shino Aburame. Match 4: Temari Vs Shikamaru Nara. The Winner Of Match 1 will go on to face Gaara Of Sand" Sartobi then said with smile. There were groans to some of the matches, mostly from Shikamaru.

Naruto was getting ready to leave when a hand on his arm stopped him. "Don't hurt her to much, please" Kushina pleaded with him. Naruto nodded as he turned to her "I can try, but I can't make no promises. She does think I'm a demon, even if we are both Tailed Beast Holders. Speaking of which, if she uses Kurama's Chakra. I will retaliate with my own" He told her strongly. Kushina sighed and nodded. "I'm training her for this month, I'll try to make her see you in a new light" She told him. Naruto nodded. "You do that Kaa-chan, you do that" He said and vanished.

*Few Minutes Later*

Naruto was sitting in Sarutobi's office waiting for him, the door then opened and in the walked the old Kage. "Naruto-kun, your here. That's good" He said and walked over to his desk, he sat down in his chair and sighed. "I'm getting to old for this hat Naruto-kun" He then said. Naruto couldn't help but chuckle. "Your retiring soon I suppose?" Naruto asked. Sarutobi nodded and smiled at him. "That's why I want to ask you what your thoughts on becoming Hokage are" He explained. Naruto nodded, he figured it was a good time as any to tell Sarutobi.

"You know it use to be my dream back in the day, but I can still proudly say that it still is" Naruto confessed. "But for different reasons now, I use to want respect and for people to acknowledge me. Now, I want peace rather then something of my own selfish reasons" Naruto then said with a smile. Sarutobi nodded amd smiled. "Good, that is what I like to hear" He said with a smile. "That is why I want to make you my new successor" Sarutobi said proudly. Naruto widened his eyes at this, this could get his name up there with the best.

"I-It would be an honor, but are you sure this is a good idea?" He asked. His main concern was the Cilivian's themselves, rather then the Shinobi's who were a but more understanding of his predicament. Sarutobi went to say something, but Yugao Uzuki burst into the room. "Sasuke Uchiha h-have been found dead" She said to Sarutobi seriously. Naruto and Sarutobi widned her eyes. "Did he give Sasuke the Curse Mark?" Naruto asked Sarutobi. "Y-Yes, but I was going to ask you to remove it when you got a chance" Sarutobi confessed. "Shit, Orochimaru is alive"

"W-What do you mean he's alive?" Yugao asked, Sarutobi wanted to know aswell. "The reason I removed Anko's Mark is because I love her" He said with soft smile. "However, I also removed because it was glowing and I could feel his Chakra threatening to break free from the seal. I think he created the Curse Mark to bring himself back to life if he were to die" Naurto said and stood up. Yugao and Sarutobi widened there eyes more "Who was watching over Sasuke?" Naruto then asked. "Hayate" Sarutobi said and Yugao widened her eyes. "He is not d-dead" She said. "Than lets pay him a visit".
