PROLOGUE

The light strawberry blonde girl  suggested as the trio was currently making plans to hangout after school

A snap of a finger was then heard, making the two girls turn their attention towards their brunette haired friend

❝ We can also stop by the park after! Enjoying our cold treats as we chat along the swings~ ❞

Hutao said rather proud of her idea while Yoimiya made an okay sign with one of her hands while muttering a small 'perfect' as she did

The two then looked at their other friend, waiting for her approval

❝ Well?, what do you think Y/N? ❞

The said girl then let out a little chuckle as she reached out to her locker

❝ If it's planned by you two then I'm sure it's definitely going to be fu- ❞

Before she could finish her sentence, a piece of paper fell down as she unlocked her locker, completely catching her off guard

❝ Oh? And what may this be? ❞

Y/N bent down and examined the paper now on the floor, visible confusion on her face as she grabbed it and flipped it around on both sides, occasionally letting out a small 'hmm' as she did

Hutao took a little peak as Yoimiya bent down to join the inspection as they were both equally as confused as Y/N was

Sudden realization stuck the 3 girls upon finding out that it was no ordinary paper, rather it was a letter

❝ Woah, isn't it a bit early to be receiving love letters Y/N? Geez, boys these days ❞

The scarlet eyed female joked as she grabbed the letter out of Y/N's hands

Although Yoimiya found it cute that males this day and age still consider sending out handwritten letters, she still found it odd that this one was sent out of the blue

Y/N stood up and dusted her skirt off, not too long after helped Yoimiya up as well, leaving Hutao to investigate the letter in her hands

❝ For the love of Archons ❞

Hutao groaned softly as she turned to her e/c eyed friend

❝ Has anyone been showing signs of interest in you lately Y/N? Because for archons know what reason, this one isn't signed ❞

The said girl tried her best to recall any recent happenings as Yoimiya grabbed the letter in Hutao's possession, giving it a little examine herself

❝ I'm sorry Hutao, it's either I'm extremely dense or everyone is just strangely nice to me ❞

The brunette let out a sigh as she gave the h/c haired girl a gentle pat on the back while muttering a small 'its ok'

❝ You know what, forget it, we were planning to hangout today, not to go full on Sherlock Holmes on who sent this letter to Y/N ❞

Yoimiya said as she gave the letter back to the one who received it unexpectedly

❝ Yeah! Yoimiya is right, what are we waiting for? Let's go! ❞

Hutao said as she grabbed hold of Y/N's arm, happily skipping away down the halls while dragging her with her

Yoimiya quickly followed, giggling at the sight as she interlocked her arm with Y/N's after catching up with the two ahead

As much as the h/c haired girl wanted to forget about the letter she received today, she just couldn't help but feel a sense of deja vu
